Review on Ghani Khan Institute

Overall Rating
This college is not the best option for your career. If you have scored average marks which can let you go for this college, please opt for other government colleges or any private colleges. The college is below average even though it is a CFTI. The faculty members are not that helpful or supportive.
 

Academics Rating
The college offers B.Tech in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Food Technology. It has also Diploma course for courses like CSE, ME, FT, etc. The entrance eligibility is that you should hold a valid rank in either of JEE or WBJEE. You can get selected through official counseling of the exam or through college's own decentralized counseling.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty for each department is different in every aspect. I'm studying Electrical Engineering, and my faculty is not very helpful or supportive. Faculty for Mechanical engineering is somewhat better than ours but not the best. Faculty for Food Technology is what we can say is a good faculty for a department.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is not very good in our college. As the college is now a very handful number of companies generally come for hiring. But recently some of our seniors have packed pretty good packages through campus.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is one of the bright aspects of the college. The hostel is very clean, and the rooms are very comfortable. The mess food is okay. The hostel also has elevator fir smoother working.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus consists of mainly four academic blocks. Each block is for each department. The blocks are huge. Each block is equipped with an elevator. The practical labs are equipped with necessary instruments. We also have a workshop that is situated beside the first academic block. The canteen is open till 7 in the evening. We can have our breakfast or lunch from the canteen.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in our college is not very cheerful. There are several science clubs like robotics club, coding club etc. Gatherings aren't very common. There are several recreational rooms equipped with stuffs like table tennis, caroms, etc. We also have a gym which are used by deemed students. The fest isn't an attractive feature, but it can be very fun with upcoming days.

    Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology is an engineering college which offers B.Tech and diploma courses on various fields. It is situated at Narayanpur, Malda. It is roughly 10 km away from the Malda town railway station and the method of transportation is available through local autos.     The Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering and Technology is a CFTI under MoE Govt of India. It is one of the great technical institutes in West Bengal as well as in India. The college is adjacent to the Malda Town with well connected transportation services. It offers courses like B.Tech and Diploma.     My overall experience is not too bad but not good as well. It’s almost a new college. It was established in 2010 so you can say that it does not stand at a point where it can compete with other colleges. The campus is big though it has only few buildings and vast farms surrounding....     I got a seat in this college through CSAB counselling. I chose this college because the branch that I was interested in (Food technology) was provided in here and moreover, it was not very far from my State so it was convenient for me. I was an applicant of 2020 batch and unfortunately two years of my college was done online.
