University of Allahabad, a good option

Overall Rating
My overall experience was average, not good because at that time there was too much politics among both students and professors because of Chatra Sangh. From here you can do BA, BSC, B.Com, BCA, and many other UG and master courses. For admission, you just simply have to appear in an examination, conducted by the university itself.
 

Academics Rating
You should not rely on teachers too much, focus on studying by you. You can access a lot of study materials from the University's central library. If you are enrolling in BA course then try to study for government exams as well because the syllabus is very similar, and you will get an upper hand in comparison with other candidates. Also, you can take a lot of help from different available guides for your examinations.
 

Faculty Rating
Some of the teachers are very rude and they will not focus teaching, but all of them are not the same. So, never get demotivated if you have some bad experience. Some teachers guide students in every way. The teaching style is very basic; nowadays you can even take the help of YouTube lectures or the Internet as in my time these were not available.
 

Placement Rating
No placements. No companies visit here for hiring, so don't expect any placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are available and you can fill out the form for a hostel. Charges are not very high, but I'll suggest going for a PG.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is too big. The university is spread over a very area and also different parts at different places. It is the biggest university in the whole Prayagraj. And it is also very beautiful and well-maintained. It looks like it is some sort of palace. The Arts department is at a different place, the science department is at a different place and the same for the other departments.
 

Campus Rating
University is also known as 'Oxford Of East', so just by that name you can understand that the crowd. It is very crowded place and at times different programs and fests are organised by both students, teachers and by university also. Also, there are different kinds of clubs and groups, you can join them as per your interest.

    I am in BA LLB program at the University of Allahabad which was erstwhile regarded as the Oxford of East. You could get admission through CUET exam and you have to score decent marks for getting a seat in BA LLB at Allahabad University because it's one of the most demanding courses of AU.     The University of Allahabad is one of the most leading central universities, where students are admitted based on their CUET marks. Here, I will review the Law faculty of this university. Overall, the department stands as a distinguished part of the university. The Law faculty produces excellent alumni which are evident through the UP PCS J results.     University of Allahabad is one of the topmost Central Universities in India.
