The university is good in terms of infrastructure, education, and extracurricular activities, but there are some negatives as well which you need to consider before taking admission here.

Overall Rating
My overall experience is good. I took 1.5 years of online classes due to COVID-19. But online classes were also good and they were conducted in a very well-planned manner. Offline classes were also good. Here you can take admission to the Bachelor of Arts course if you are interested in preparing for exams like UPSC, PCS, VDO, etc. As most of the students have such goals, so you will get a good environment.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission in this university, you have to give an entrance examination and the best part is that if you will not be able to clear its cut-off of then there is no issue because you can get admitted to multiple colleges under it for which you have cleared the cut-off. Also, the fees are not too much in this university. Every year the Uttar Pradesh Government gives a scholarship for which you have to fill up the form and you can also get your whole fees back.
 

Faculty Rating
Some teachers are good, knowledgeable, and helpful but few of them are very arrogant and they don't have any knowledge of their subjects. If you taking admission here just focus on self-study, this is something that will help you. But also attend regular classes otherwise it will affect your attendance, as it is a regular college.
 

Placement Rating
No placements are provided here. You have to pursue higher studies.
 

Hostel Rating
There are some hostels for which you have to fill out the form. Most of the students don't get hostel as there are limited hostel rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University is spread over a very large area and it has different departments at different places. The Arts department is near the main road where the central library is also located. The structure is very good and beautiful. You will love the looks of it. In the Arts department for every subject different areas are allocated. Sometimes it's very hard to go from one department to another department.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was good. I enjoyed it a lot. There were multiple cultural groups and you can join them as per your interest. Multiple functions and fests were also organised you can participate there as well. Just be aware of the politics. There is too much politics here, never indulge yourself in political stuff.

    The University of Allahabad is one of the most leading central universities, where students are admitted based on their CUET marks. Here, I will review the Law faculty of this university.     The overall experience in University of Allahabad is average. It is a central university so the infrastructure is good. The schedule is hectic and the faculty is highly qualified. The factor made me choose this particular institute is my IIT JAM exam preparation. The syllabus of this university is good.
