Overall Rating
The college is now a university and comes among top Engineering colleges in Odisha. Being located at capital city Bhubaneswar students will not face any difficulty staying there for studies. The infrastructure is developing rapidly as the university is now NAAC accredited. I chose the college for it was local to me and I got a core branch also.
 

Academics Rating
The academic calendar of B. Tech is followed strictly as the classes and semester exams are held as mentioned. Around 3-4 lectures are there with a lab class daily. Students who have appeared JEE mains as well as OJEE can enroll the OJEE counseling and get admission to the college according to their respective ranks for different branches of B.Tech.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well-qualified from top institutions like IIT's and NIT's. Most of the faculties are helpful and cooperative. They support in any situations for students which makes them friendly with students. They guide students even for their higher studies or further career counseling. The style of their teaching is quite easy to understand.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in the college that helps students by bringing top companies to the colleges also assisting students with their internships.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Classrooms are ventilated and well-lit. They have digital projectors for the presentation. Food delivery to the hostels is available in the college. There is a huge library and reading room for students. There is a bank inside the campus. Academic buildings are properly taken care of. Bus facility is available for all local students as well as faculties.
 

Campus Rating
You will get free access to high-speed Wi-Fi, libraries and study rooms. There are many technical as well as cultural clubs for students. There are 2 fests held every year for students. One is technical fest and other is cultural where students from all over Odisha take part. Annual sports meet of college is also held involving many sports. Besides many other academic and cultural activities are also held round the year.

  • Best experience at the University

    It was my dream to crack NEET and be part of a prominent University / Institute / University. For the same I prepared for NEET after 12th but I could not crack it. I gave JEE mains exam and my marks in it were 81%. Due to this reason I joined OUTR because this is a good University. It was recommended to me by my relatives.     The overall experience is great. Unlike other universities, the seniors here are really great and supportive. The teachers will give you positive criticism which is good for your future performance. The labs and classrooms are also well maintained.     Very good platform for getting placements and highly qualified teachers are mentoring us. They interact with us and become friendly to us.
