University College of Engineering, Osmania University B.Tech Review By Tejaswini Gattu

As our college contains various types of courses in almost all branches of studies regarding Engineering, Arts, and Science so on, it's a very good experience studying in Osmania. We can experience various types of challenges and overcome them. We are able gain as much knowledge as possible. Our college also provides various opportunities regarding various situations to develop ourselves. So overall, our college is a very good one for studying.

Regarding academics in our college, I can say that it is OK. Like it depends on the year of our joining because the syllabus is changing for different years as our seniors, we and our juniors are not having same syllabus in our same semesters. But regarding the quality and quantity of academics it is very much nice and is useful even for preparing competitive exams.

If we come to faculty, the level of knowledge the faculty has is very much high and good as they did their masters in IIT and also some have Ph.D so they are very good. And the teaching was also nice regarding the subject syllabus but some of them cannot complete total syllabus in the given time and keep them pending leaving the remaining syllabus to students itself to read it. I also appreciate the style of teaching of our faculty because it made us to learn about subject deeply and understanding so that we can have a brief information regarding the course subjects. They also help in our doubts with patience and encourage our ideas too. They also encourage our creativity.

Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in our Institute. It mostly helps students in acquiring jobs for their career. It helps students without confusion about what to choose and how to choose. We have a career guidance available at our college in placement cell and helps in doing projects by giving us regarding topics and helping in selecting them and make them to use and get a good internship and by that a good job in a nice company which the student wants to join as an employee. Likewise, it is very much helpful for most of the students in acquiring their jobs in the industry. They also contact with the industrialist to help us.

Of course, we do have residential facilities in our Institute. The hostel life is very much fun, and we make good friends and enjoy a lot. Talking about facilities and infrastructure it is good we will get to meet or requirements satisfactorily. We also have good and amazing food in our mess although it's same for 4 years we enjoy it a lot. We will enjoy the hostel life mostly.

Talking about the campus academic blocks, structure, buildings and other amenities available. We have separate academic blocks for different courses. We also have libraries for different courses separately. We also have a large library common to all and engineering library and department library. We also have good facilities in our campus building. We don't have any problems regarding the infrastructure.

We will be having amazing campus life in our college. As we have various types of people from different backgrounds sitting in same class and learning looks really amazing and experiencing it looks great and gives us lot of enjoyment. We also have various clubs like cultural club, robotics club, IEEE, sports club and so on where various people will be gathering and able to know each other and also develop our communication skills and also technical skills as well as cultural talent. We also have every year fest conducted by each department and celebrating it together with friends and also professors. It will be amazing experience in our life.
