IIPS BBA Review By Vedant Maroliya

My college is great option for students who want to pursue a degree in the management field. It is one of the top government colleges in Madhya Pradesh to pursue a management degree. Moreover, there is a full fee reimbursement for the students who have scored above 80% in their high school. And more over the overall campus is really good and peaceful.

The course I am pursuing is an integrated MBA in Management Science. It is a five-year program that includes 3 years of BBA + 2 years of MBA (in management science). To get an entry into this program, they have to give an entrance test after completing your high school, known as CUET. After that, the college level counseling is done, and some seats are vacant on that basis of caste. As far as I can tell the required rank to get an entry in my course for the general category is about fewer than 500 and it further increases for OBC (1500), SC (4000), ST (5000). The figures might change depending upon the exam level and CLC these are the figures for the 2022 year.

There are some great faculties. Most of the faculties are friendly and now as per the new education policies they pay more focus on practical education rather than theoretical knowledge. In my college, there are 6 subjects, and some are taught by regular faculty, which include the dean, batch head, and other management of the college. And some are taught by the visiting faculty (basically these are their teachers on a contract basis at the college) but these faculty are similar to our regular ones as they are usually experienced and aged people. More some of our regular faculty has even given news interviews and public interviews.

Yes, we do have a Placement Cell. It is a mixture of the students (seniors pass out) and the teacher. Our college already has an acceptable placement like the highest package in my branch MBA - MS was about 12.5 lakh and the lowest package is about 4.5 and the package and placement depend upon your grade and extracurricular activities. The package gets higher with trending MBA fields like finance, data management, etc. the cell is helpful, and even some of our seniors are working in the MNC suggest our college students for the vacant job position. But there is a catch in it you have to score 6 pointers or 6 CGPA to sit into the college placements.

Our college doesn't have separate hostel facilities as it is part of a university it has a university hostel of DAVV. It is about walking distance from our main university gate and like 500 walking distance from our college. The university hostel is like (7/10) and it has some rules like can't go out after 9 and no entry after 9. More about the food facilities it's not up to the mark in terms of the taste, it's like (5/10). But you can prefer the mess nearby as the campus hostel is situated near the hostel area and you can easily find the mess nearby. The laundering has to be done by yourself and clear services are provided by the hostel itself.

The infrastructure is not good or not bad, it can be said it's acceptable. As IIPS is an individual college under the DAVV campus it has an area of approximately 20000 - 30000 square feet. The college has a clean and systematic classroom (non-AC). The college building is on 3 levels (floors) and it has really good parking and space for the event. If we talk about the infrastructure on a marking basis, here it is, classroom (8/10) washroom (6/10), cleanness (9/10), seating arrangement (8/10), and space for the events (9/10).

About the fest and the events, our college organizes most of the fest on the overall campus. If we talk about the fest duration, it's like 2 - 3 fests in a month including the campus fest of DAVV. And about the students, most of the students are toppers as it is the first preference of the students. Moreover, there are various clubs for the development of extracurricular activities and our seniors like elder siblings, are supportive and encourage and provide the opportunity to take part in the various management activities.
