Overall Rating
Asansol Engineering College is situated at Vivekananda Sarani Road, Kanyapur, Asansol. Basically, it is a three tier College of Engineering with a big campus and average placements starts from 4 to 24-26 LPA. This college offers B.Tech in different branches & also BBA, B.Sc. in Data Science, M.Tech having three branches i.e., EE, EECE, and Mechanical.
 

Academics Rating
A Bachelor of Technology is basically 4 years of engineering course. Academics are good in Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronics and Communication Engineering branch. Mostly, students are placed in these branches. I suggest those who want to take admission in this college should try to take admission in Computer Science branch for Engineering. This college is worst for master’s degree.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is average in this college as I am studying in this college. Some of them are IITians, if you get chance for your subject faculty then you can score above 7 or 8 CGPA. Library facility is also good in this college you can take books of your respective subjects to study for your semester exams.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is descent means average package is 4-5 LPA. But it varies because it also depends on your skills you gain in 4 years of your course. The highest package offered in 2023 is 24 LPA to a student of Information Technology branch.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In Asansol Engineering College, there are different blocks for different branches that are called Department. You have a great campus and different buildings for boys and girls hostel. This college is very nice because it has a ragging free campus. Seniors only asks for introducing yourself, they don't bully you.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is good enoguh. In this college 2 big fests are organised that is annual fest another is tech fest of Electronics Innovation. This college is joint venture of techno India and JIS group, so placement is good. In this college science club, robotics, cultural club, photography club, and hardware club is available.

    Asansol Engineering College completed its 25 years last year. This college has awesome faculty members with a well-maintained library. The faculties are very good and have good teaching experience. Also along with academics the college also has good records in sports and extracurricular activities.     Asansol Engineering College is one of the best colleges in West Bengal. Currently I'm pursing 2nd year B.Tech CSE at this college, but in my 1.5 years college life, I have gained a lot of experience of this college like it have fully surrounding green environment, sport grounds, different clubs like hardware club, Tech Club, Robotics Club, etc. Overall AEC is an awesome private college....     Asansol Engineering College is one of the well known colleges under JIS and Techno India Group. It is the one of the best and well known engineering college. You can get admission here by the entrance examination like WBJEE and JEE.
