College review of MNNIT

Overall Rating
Hello friends, I'm studying in final years in Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. In overall description, I can say that college is good, the IT departments of this college are very good, and lots of students here are involved in coding. Its NIRF ranking is not so good but if you have to do B.Tech then it is a very good college.
 

Academics Rating
Academic of this college is good, lot of course is provided there. This college is very good for Computer Science, M.Tech Department is also good there, some professors are not so good but most of them are very helpful. In this college lower branches like Production Engineering are also good if you get this then it me also help you.
 

Faculty Rating
If you are in first year or in second year then I can say faculty is very strict they don't give marks, very strict in lab and other academic places but when you are in higher semester then faculty is little bit better they feel that you are capable to do such things.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, this college has dedicated Placement Cell that is working under some professor and help students to get knowledge about company and tests and interview.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good but here hostel is allotted on the basis of CGPA. If you have good CGPA then you can get better hostel. In my opinion this is not a good thing.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In this institute academic building is very good as it is fully air-conditioned building. It has a good studying environment. Playgrounds and other students’ activity centre are also good. Some hostels are very good as it has a dedicated medical unit, each hostel has dedicated common room, college has own big library and auditorium for any official activities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good, actually this college is situated in Allahabad so the life inside and outside the college is very good, this college has lot of clubs like dance, music, robotics entrepreneur, literature, etc. MNNIT Allahabad organised Calrav, its annual cultural fest, Avishkar its technical fest, Josh n J’Laal, indoor sports fest.

    Overall Rating
    MNNIT is a prestigious Institute. It was established in 1961. Being such an old institute it was really fascinating to join it. It was one of the first few engineering institutes in India and it was the first institute in India where Computer Science was introduced as a branch. Overall, this institute had a top reputation and placement which encouraged me to join. The experience here has been wonderful till now.     Till now my overall experience in the institute is good. The institute is very good with holding its legacy from many years. If we talk about the peer group, it is really very good because there are peoples from different cultures and different countries which lead you to learn many new things which will help you to grow your personality.     MNNIT Allahabad is overall a very good college, with placement statistics rising every year. Campus life is really fun with lots of events and activities taking place throughout the year.   • An amazing experience with MNNIT

    I'm a sophomore of the esteemed institute. When I first joined the college, I thought that it wouldn't be as good as other NITs and IITs there were many who were disappointed as well and cursing it. But as the time passed THE COLLEGE turned out to be a beauty, as we got to understand the city and everything around the college become our second home. And the seniors here became our mentor!     The overall college life at MNNIT, Allahabad is very good. The infrastructure of the college is also decent. The best thing about is its internships opportunities and also the placements. The sports facilities at the college are also good almost every sport club is present in the campus. I’ll say that after 4 years student will not regret for taking admission in this college....
