Professors and Placements in NIT Srinagar

Overall Rating
Talking about academics, that is very good here and professors are highly qualified and experienced. Especially of Civil Department. If I talk about placements, they are very good here especially for Computer Science Engineering. Highest package of CSE is 44 LPA. Most people prefer Civil because they want to go in government sector.
 

Academics Rating
Academics in NIT, Srinagar is very good, or I should say it is excellent because it is a leading engineering institute in Jammu and Kashmir. In NIT Srinagar, there are not only good professors but there is every technical product that is used in education. In laboratories there is every equipment that is needed for experiments.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in NIT Srinagar is highly qualified and experienced. They are very humble and understand the queries of students and try to solve them. They encourage students and guide them. I am from Civil background, professors are highly qualified, and they teach the course calmly and do not run the syllabus.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, it helps students to get placed most of the students get placed during campus interview and remaining that is not get selected, they go for M.Tech. Placements are excellent for Computer Science Engineering Department. Highest package is 44 LPA and average is 22 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in hostel. Hostels are average you have to pay 8000 per semester and there are 6 students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure at NIT Srinagar is very good, and the campus of NIT Srinagar is very beautiful. The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are very nicely maintained. The hostel is average to good, and a new mega hostel is going to start this year. Also, there are many playgrounds where you can play different games.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in NIT Srinagar is amazing if you get into this college, you will enjoy a lot. Many fests are organised in the campus in which students can participate and also you can take part in many games like chess, carom, cricket, football, volleyball, etc. You can be member of many organizations / groups there in which we will a lot of things and get experienced.

    NIT Srinagar is one of the most prestigious institutes of our country. It not only provides quality education but it also provides great real life experiences to the students.   • Serene campus life

    First of all, the institute is very beautiful as it is situated in the best part of Kashmir. You can feel every season here. The temperature rises up to 35 degrees but can even fall to -5 degrees in winter. You can enjoy snowfall on campus along with rain and autumn.     After my JEE Mains result, I was sure about my college. It was not much surprising, as I was mentally prepared for it. Being aware of lots of rumours and hype about Srinagar, it was really difficult to convince my parents. But still, I managed it.
