Chitkara, One of the best colleges in North India

Overall Rating
It is one of the best universities in Northern India. It provides various courses like B.E, MBA, BCA, BBA, Pharmacy, etc. Its campus is well and good with modern facilities. Its placement record is also good. If anyone wants to pursue sports with study, then join definitely. I got attracted because of placement and campus life.
 

Academics Rating
B.E/ BTECH are same is one of the most demanding courses of all time. This university is one of best in engineering courses. You must have passed 12th with minimum of 60% in PCM. And you should have appeared for JEE Mains. It has its own application form take admission. This college gives you opportunity to learn according to market demands.
 

Faculty Rating
Overall, the faculty is good for the course. They hold many degrees in master’s, and Ph.D. Few are from IIT and NIT. Their teaching style is quite good and supportive to students. Even many teachers are called to take special classes to teach on market demand and make ready for placements. The whole faculty is up to the mark.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college has its Placement Cell with big alumni network. They help students to get placement in good companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, college has hostel facility for both boys and girls. You will vet each and every facility in hostel with good infrastructure. But hostels are quite restrictive.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is big and modern and has different blocks for different courses. They have many labs for B.Tech students and with all facilities. It has Wi-Fi facility and AC facility. Classes are large enough and ventilated. You will get canteen to have lunch between breaks and get RO drinking water.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus and college are good for B.Tech if you have motive to study and grab opportunity. There is not much crowd. There are many clubs for different purposes for your overall development. Fests are also organized for students to enjoy. There is start up culture also which is very supportive, it is not many other colleges.

    Overall experience at Chitkara University is great except the fact that hostellers have to attend classes at night time i.e. 4:10-9:30, which is very inconvenient as most of us are not used to this shift in timings, but we still manage to study and have fun regardless. I chose this institute because it was close to my home and because I did my schooling from Chitkara International School.     My Overall Experience has been pretty average at Chitkara University. It both has its ups and downs. At one part, everything is great, you will make great friends, score well if you have studied for it, decent and helpful faculty, but on the other end some parts are not so great. For Example, many of the fests and events are only for the hostellers and not for the day scholars, even the access to gym and swimming pools are only available for the hostellers....
