Decent college for skill development.

Overall Rating
My experience in University of Rajasthan is quite decent, however did had few backlashes in terms of quality education. The courses which I took included accounting, finance and business studies related subjects, which were taught by knowledgeable facilities, even though they may not cooperate, at times. One of the most significant reasons for which I choose the college, is due to the affordable fee structure and location. In entirety, I would recommend the college for those who are looking forward to a decent and cheaper source of education.
 

Academics Rating
The course for which I enrolled in University of Rajasthan is Bachelor's of Commerce (B.Com). This course has duration of 3 years and could be extended if the student fails to clear a certain subject, together with additional fees. There is no certain entry level examination; however the student should be having at least 50% in 12th academics. The main motive behind enrolling for this course is my personal interest in accounting and finance field, where this college also provides practical training in finance based software, such as Tally.
 

Faculty Rating
There were approximately 20 facilities for the course in which I enrolled, where most of the individuals had completed their PhD and / or pursuing further education related to the finance and accounting field. The major subjects were taught by well-trained professionals, with in-depth and straight-forward way of explaining. However, I was dissatisfied with the lack of cooperation after the classes were over, for any extra query.
 

Placement Rating
The institute does offer campus placement, including seminars for provision of guidance to the student. In these seminars and events, the students are guided as to how they are required to apply for a specific position, in an organization. The companies who took part in this, included small to mid-sized firms. However, the packages provided were very low, if compared to other universities in Jaipur.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities were provided, however I was not a part of the same.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure in University of Rajasthan is not up-to mark, I would say. A lot of the facilities such as the library or the canteen area do not have many amenities, for the price which you would be paying. However, the whole campus included multiple buildings for academics, residential area and auditorium.
 

Campus Rating
The campus activities, fests and seminars were one of the positive points in this University, as I was able to experience and learn in different areas. There were different clubs such as the finance, dance, singing, literature club, which held various types of activities for the student to experiment with their knowledge and develop their skills.

  • Old college having good Infrastructure

    University of Rajasthan, Jaipur also called as UNIRAJ is state government university and it is funded by the Government of Rajasthan and this is the reason for the minimal fee of the university. For Bachelor of Computer Application fee was approx. Rs. 8,000 per year including all the academic fee excluding hostel fee.
