Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology is situated at Allahabad. Currently I am in the second year in Electrical Engineering. I chose this institute because of its placement statistics which I heard from my batch mate. Now I have realised that this decision was right and I don’t have any regret over my college selection.

The courses offered by MNNIT are B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, Doctorate, and M.Phil. Bachelor of Technology course is offered in Chemical Engineering, Civil, Biotechnology, CSE, EE, ECE, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Technology at a fee of Rs. 3.21 Lakh per year. Many specialisations in MBA are offered such as Finance Management, Human Resources Management, International Business, Marketing, and System Management at a fee of Rs. 1.02 Lakh per year. M.Tech is also offered with different disciplines like Applied Mechanics, Communication System, Design Engineering, Power System, and many more. MCA is a 3 year course offered at a total fee of Rs. 2.44 Lakh. The basic eligibility for admission is JEE rank and 75% in 10+2.

All the faculties of MNNIT are highly qualified and supportive in nature. Most of the faculties have completed their PhD from prestigious institute like IIT. Their way of teaching is fantastic and they also provide career guidance and help to improve our industry oriented skills.

Yes, there is a placement cell which constantly keeps all students aware about placement statistics and helps to enhance their industry oriented skills. Some top recruiters are Accenture, Reliance, Tata Motors, Bajaj, L&T, and many others. The average package is 20.17 LPA and recently highest package went up to 1.35 CPA.

Yes, there are 6 boys’ and 3 girls’ hostels available with 24*7 power supply, purified water, canteen, library, cafeteria, and many others. The most fantastic thing of all hostels is their name. SVBH hostel for 1st year, Patel and Tilak hostels for 2nd year, and Tandon and Malviya hostels for 3 rd year students. A newly built hostel is available for the 4th year students.

MNNIT was established in 1961 due to which infrastructure is quite old and not very much attractive. However all classrooms have AC but there infrastructure is not quite good. Orientation hall is not too big which has only 800+ seating capacity. Labs are very much well equipped and one lab also has the old generation computer which is the size of a room.

My college life has been fantastic because here I have met the sharpest brains. Extracurricular activities, practical explanation, and not too tough courses are the reasons of my happiness here. Many clubs are there to promote coding culture, plantation, green energy, automation, sports, music, and many more. Two most famous events are Avishkar (tech fest) and Culrav (annual fest).Two most famous events are AVISHKAR (tech fest) and CULRAV(annual fest).
