College Review and My Overall Experience at NIT Jamshedpur

Overall Rating
I am a student of NIT Jamshedpur. I got admission in this college through JEE entrance exam. I wanted to go to an IIT but my rank was not enough to get admission in an IIT institute. So I decided to take admission here as this institute is near to my place. I would suggest students from Jharkhand to take admission in this institute as it is the best engineering NIT institute.
 

Academics Rating
As I mentioned earlier this is Engineering Institute with different courses and you can pursue your master’s degree also from here. This institute includes a wide range of course like Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, and many other engineering courses.
 

Faculty Rating
Here the faculty members are from IITs and NITs teachings the courses. They are well trained professors giving quality education in NIT Jamshedpur. We get a faculty head for each department. Under them the department of civil, electrical, mechanical, and other departments works. Their style of teaching is superb as they explain very well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our institute. Many students get campus placement in our institute. Many industrial companies hire students and it really helps students to get job after completion of course.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. The hostel life is great here. I am a hostel student in this institute so I can really say that the hostel life is good. We get healthy and nutritious food at the hostel. We have separate hostels for girls and boys. There are 12 hostels in total among which 6 are for girls and 6 are for boys. We have playground for sports and a canteen for relaxing.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus occupies a huge area where there are academic blocks for different branches. There is a library, an auditorium, halls, a canteen, and lecture halls for different branches. There is a big auditorium for events and occasions. Also residential facilities are available. The institute environment is greener and the greener environment helps the students in studies.
 

Campus Rating
Institute campus life is great here as fests are organised recently where Shirley Sethia performed and all of us enjoyed very much. Trap band also performed in this institute for cultural fest. Activities like exhibition and competition are held in this institute. There are different clubs like environment, dance, music, sports, and others. Students become a part of club and represent our institute in different competition and events.

    National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur is one of the finest engineering Institute of India having NIRF Ranking under 150.     NIT Jamshedpur is an Institution lying in the lap of nature with a lush green campus. The campus is not so vibrant but good enough to keep you engaged throughout the year. Tough academics, hectic events and memorable fests together will keep you busy doing the mid of the semesters.
