IIIT Allahabad is the only IIIT in the country which is fully under government as other IIIT's are either semi government or private. IIIT Allahabad is one of best in the country not only because it boasts the extraordinary placements but also because it has an excellent coding culture. Many people here do competitive programming and participate in events and rank higher than students from IITs and NITs. Overall college experience is also decent with a little bit of hectic schedule which if you try to manage it can be easily coped up with. Also the cutoffs in JEE Mains rank testify about the greatness of the college.

Now, academically speaking that it is an IIIT so of course it will be a little hectic in terms of academics but many people learn how to balance their academics and extracurricular activities alongside which turns out to be great. The curriculum is totally industry oriented so it gives IIIT Allahabad the edge which we can clearly see in its placements.

The faculties are great as the institute comes under “The Institute of National Importance” category so it has amazing faculty who has a definitive method of teaching and they are all very good professors. They will regularly help you out in case of any doubts or distress you might face related to study. All faculties are well qualified individuals who come from prestigious institutions. Overall the faculties are all very good.

The institute’s campus is spread across 100 acres of land and built so beautifully and systematically that you would find anything and everything you need in the campus itself. There is an academic block where the lectures take place and the auditorium where in all programs and important meetings are held. Its architecture is even beautiful and you will surely love it.

So, as I told you there is a very decent college life here in IIIT Allahabad only if you are able to manage your time properly which everyone learns eventually over the course of time. People here are involved in many different clubs and societies like music, drama, arts, literary, robotics, coding, and many more. So, there are many things to explore in the college. Fests are equally good and there are regular competitions held to participate and win prizes. So, overall the college life is really fun.
