An Overview of Vishnu Institute of Technology, Bhimavaram

Overall Rating
When all the engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh are considered, I feel Vishnu Institute of Technology is the best when you want to study in a co-educational college. The infrastructure and facilities are awesome here. There are some strict rules and regulations that everyone has to follow when they are staying in the college hostel which has some advantages and disadvantages associated with them.
 

Academics Rating
There are a wide variety of courses offered in Vishnu Institute of Technology but many students prefer to choose CS related branches like AI DS, CSE, AI ML, IT, and CSBS. I am pursuing my Bachelors in Computer Science and Business Systems which includes Computer Science curriculum and Management subjects. The course is designed by TCS and I feel that the CSBS curriculum is better than CSE. One can get admission in VITB through AP-EAPCET exam and Management Quota. Getting admission through the management quota is a costly affair.
 

Faculty Rating
We can learn a lot from the faculty but I would suggest that we must not solely and completely depend on the faculty members and we should prefer to learn on our own as well. Many faculties have completed PhD background and they teach quite well. Their style of teaching is good but for being successful one has to also do some self study.
 

Placement Rating
One good thing about VITB is the placements. Placements are quite good and the college maintains placement offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Noida, etc. We do have a placement cell in our campus and they provide the students with Campus Recruitment Training Support required by the students to get placed. If one aims for a package greater than 10 LPA then they should start concentrating on their career now only.
 

Hostel Rating
The college has separate residential facilities for both boys and girls separately. The hostel infrastructure is good but only thing which concerns students are the rules and regulations imposed in hostels. Other than that the facilities are quite good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Vishnu Institute is known for its infrastructure and the facilities they provide. The campus mainly contains 6 blocks which include Block A, B, and C, Library Block, Workshop Block, and Center of Excellence. The classroom, labs, and library all are well maintained. You cannot ask for a better infrastructure in any other EAPCET base engineering colleges.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good in VITB. They have various clubs and they organize many events as well. There are various spots in the campus where one can hangout. There are branch specific clubs in the college as well as some college clubs. Events like Fresher Party, Farewell, Ethnic Day, etc. are organised in the college. A National Level Technical Student Symposium named Valiant is organised in the college. Overall the campus life is very good.
