BVSc & AH degree is 5.5 years UG degree for Animal Doctorate and gives you opportunity for saving lives and making healthy life for animals. I chose this degree because there is assurance of job and practice. The profession has diverse field options after completing UG degree. Fee is also not much and scholarships are also available for the needy. One should have love for animals if someone wants to choose this career as being called Veterinarian. College experience has been very good in study and practical as well. TVCC has got cases for students’ study.

The name of the course is BVSc & AH. It is a UG Degree with tenure of 5.5 years. For admission in college you have to go through the MPPVFT exam which is a CBT test. Just like NEET it is not a written exam instead it is a CBT Test. Eligibility is 12th pass with any boards like State Board, CBSE, or ICSE Board. The exam level is moderate and reservations are also considered in the selection process. After clearing all this, college will be allotted to you.

Faculty members are highly qualified professors with highest level of qualification such as PhD. They all are experts in their respective fields and in practical as well. Professors are selected as per the national exam criteria. Methodology of teaching is quite innovative as they teach via projector and microphone via online and offline modes both. They strictly teach the syllabus and sometimes they share some innovative information as well.

No, placement cell is not there. Due to good relations maintained between the juniors and seniors it is easy for the juniors to secure jobs with the help of their seniors. There is a 1 year internship program in the last year of the degree after which the students look for veterinary jobs.

There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels include mess, gym, indoor games playing area, a hall, and several rooms. 2 students can live in one room and each room is made according to the latest designs. There is cleanliness around and inside hostel as there are sweepers and cleaners. Around campus there is greenery everywhere and there are also grounds for playing different sports. Despite from belonging to different cultural backgrounds all the students live together in the hostel. Many festival celebrations are also conducted in the college. Festivals like Holi, Diwali, etc. are also celebrated. There is a chair, a table, a bed, fan, cupboard, lights, and other necessary things provided in rooms for each student. Maintenance of infrastructure of the college campus is well handled by the college management.

There is NCC Unit at the side of the boys’ hostel. Separate quarter buildings are there in the college campus for the faculty. There are 2 girls’ hostels and 1 boys’ hostel. There are different blocks for different subjects. Nearby there is a poultry farm. There is also an auditorium and a canteen present in the campus.

Overall campus is nice and has small crowd. The college is situated just two to three kilometer from the main city and it is environment friendly. Numbers of seats are kept less by the institution so it produces good doctors. No clubs or party halls are present here as it is a strict and disciplined educational institution. Fests are arranged sometimes but mostly career oriented programs are only organised in the college very frequently.
