Banaras Hindu University Review

Overall Rating
I got admission in this prestigious university in the year 2021 but due to lockdown couldn't attend my 1st year classes in offline mode. Our semester was already lacking but somehow it got managed. We gave our first semester exam in online mode and everyone knows about the open book examination. Overall this university is genuinely worth all the money.
 

Academics Rating
I got enrolled in Bachelor's of Social Science with Economics as my major. For admission I gave the University Entrance Examination which now has been included in CUET exam. Eligibility is simple as you should be 12th pass with minimum percentage of marks. You have to then sit for the entrance exam and compete with thousand other students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are friendly I would say but it also depends on faculty to faculty like our professors are very serious about their job. They rarely take any leave and try to co-operate with students as much as possible. They sometimes also take extra classes to complete the syllabus.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell at our institute but it's for the other departments and not for us.
 

Hostel Rating
We have residential facilities in our institute. In fact BHU is one of the biggest residential Universities in India. Hostel facilities and staffs are more or less good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I think BHU has the most beautiful campus among all the universities. The beauty is breath taking. Every building, department, and faculty is surrounded by greenery and covered with trees, plants, and bushes. As being said BHU is one of the oldest that's why some buildings require a little work but they are also erecting new buildings for the students.
 

Campus Rating
This university gives you a lot of opportunities, it's just you have to grab them and be active enough to get engaged in all the clubs, societies, and fests. BHU has different clubs for different enthusiasts. We organise numerous cultural events and fests throughout the year.

    As we all are aware that Banaras Hindu University is globally recognized university and one the prestigious university in India. The most important thing in making it so is the Academics part. As a student of Commerce department in BHU, I can tell you about my department only. Though it's not the best but I can confidently say that our faculty can easily make into top 10 institutes for Commerce students in India, especially for the B.com (Hons.).     The great legacy of the university known as Banaras Hindu University. It is one of the best University in Asia and the largest residential too. My college was Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and I chose it due to the fact that it had an excellent reputation and it had one of the most important things called a PG quota which helps a lot in future PG exams as well....   • Review Title BHU is worth taking admission for better academics

    BHU ranks 5th in India's top central university while Institute of Agricultural Sciences ranks 4th in top agriculture and allied sector. Agriculture has much scope and BHU gives the opportunity to explore this field. Government jobs, corporate jobs, banking, research and many opportunities are offered to the students of at BHU.
