My experience at LPU, Jalandhar

Overall Rating
My overall experience at LPU is awesome. I made many friends and learnt various skills. The college provides very good environment for studies as well as for sports and other extracurricular activities. The college organises various fests throughout the year like One India and Hackathons as well. I chose this college because it provides scholarships and my fee was reduced from Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 74,000. The faculties are also very good and experienced.
 

Academics Rating
My course is B.Tech Computer Science. I took this subject due to the growing demands in the tech industry. For entry in this course you have to study PCM in class 12th as well clear LPUNEST entrance test. According to your rank you can get scholarships. Also if you have represented your nation in sports or cultural events then you can get admission for zero fees.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are pretty experienced. They solve each and every doubt of students and they even provide YouTube videos for revision before exams. Many faculties are IIT graduates. They teach through smart boards as well as black boards. The faculty also acts as mentors and help in career as well. They are always open for help if any student is participating in hackathons or competitions.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college has a placement cell. The college keeps the record of the skill sets of the various students from the first semester itself and after that when company comes and asks for particular skill sets, they easily filter out students and even give them training before sitting in placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, campus has hostel facilities, with 8 boys’ and 6 girls’ hostels. Playground is also available. Mess along with laundry facilities is available inside residential facilities. University has a portal by which they solve any problem for the hostel students like any equipment not working or cleaning of AC or coolers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has academic blocks with numbers from 1 to 56. Every block is divided as per the subjects from fashion to agriculture branch. The campus has a central library which has a MAC lab inside; also 2 auditoriums are present for any guest seminars. The campus also provides free hospital facilities. They call the ambulance to hostel in case of emergency as well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is fantastic. College also has a mall which has every kind of shops and facilities available within, gyms, swimming pool, indoor stadium, and many more. The crowd is huge here as it is a university. Clubs and societies provide help to those students who want to follow their passion in dancing, singing, or any kind of art. Fests occur regularly along with competitions such as coding and fashion competitions.

It is ranked at the 10th position all over Asia. it is known for its undying prestige, helpful faculty, creative learning, cultural events, social and cultural diversity and much more.     My experience at Lovely Professional University is good taking all the parameters in attention. The university is very huge in size and we can see that it is eco friendly as there are many plants everywhere.
