My Experience with NIT, Calicut

Overall Rating
NIT Calicut is situated in Kerela and the greenery at that place is so wonderful that I cannot explain. It is genuinely considered a tourist place and it is very decent. The infrastructure is so fascinating of the college and the buildings are kept really neat and clean. The hostel rooms and the washrooms are very good.
 

Academics Rating
I cleared JEE mains by scoring 230 marks in first attempt and scored 246 in second attempt and 156 marks in third attempt and I got selected for appearing JEE Advance and I scored 78 marks in that and then I cleared the criteria for entering the college. It creates discipline in life and most importantly consistency.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of this college is very good. The facilities provide 24*7 hours doubt clearing sessions. The teachers are so humble that they become good friends. They don’t angry over us for asking the same questions 4 times. The teaching style of the teachers is so relatable and easy to understand the concepts.
 

Placement Rating
The placements are very good.
 

Hostel Rating
The washrooms in the hostel are very clean.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Every branch has its own building, as I mentioned earlier the buildings are very new and very clean. The name of the branch at the start of the building is written in a very fascinating way. The campus is very big, even it took me 8 months to explore it, the campus have its own big unisexual gym, a swimming pool, and so many playgrounds like football field, cricket field, and many more.
 

Campus Rating
The people around the campus are so helpful and humble. The campus life is so amazing and there are so many clubs in which you can sharpen your passion which in the past you couldn't focus much on. The fests happens throughout the year and they give us the real enjoyment.

    Overall Rating
    The culture of this campus is something which made me want to join here the most. Thinking this was different from the usual colleges you hear about (in Kerala at least) but at the end of the day, this too is a campus governed by internal politics and administration. As a first year joining, what attracted me most were the fests and clubs. The fests are all cancelled as of now and since the fests are cancelled, the clubs have nothing to do.... Read Full Review
