About DRC, New Delhi

Overall Rating
When I was choosing my colleges after DU's cutoff list had been out, I had a choice between Gargi and Daulat Ram College. I consulted several people regarding my choice and everyone told me that both of the colleges are great. Hence, I decided I'll go by my convenience and chose DRC for the North Campus locality. I am not disappointed, considering the faculty of my course (Psychology Honors) is really great, and I love all the professors.
 

Academics Rating
The faculty in my course is very serious about the course. Due to the new CUET rules, I'm not much aware about the entry requirements but DRC ranks amongst the top colleges for Psychology Honors across the entire Delhi University. The department constantly works on building exposure of students in the field.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors are extremely helpful. Every student holds a different compatibility with the teachers. I personally resonate with the teaching methods of most of the professors. On top of that, most of them are highly experienced in the field and their insights and experiences add to the lectures.
 

Placement Rating
There are no placements offered for BA Psychology Honors degree.
 

Hostel Rating
As of right now, the college hostel is not open for students (it's under renovation). However, due to its location, there are lots of places where one can get PG or rent a flat.
 

Infrastructure Rating
One of the drawbacks of Daulat Ram College is its infrastructure. The building seems a bit old. There are many facilities like sports complex, sports ground, and an amphitheatre that are available. The nature makes the lawns really picturesque and enlightens one's mood. The department of psychology is also equipped with all the basic requirements.
 

Campus Rating
The vibes of the campus are really great. The crowd is very good and it keeps you entertained. Daulat Ram College in itself doesn't have a lot of big fests but other DU colleges and their fests make up for it.

    It’s been 1 year in DRC now and honestly I have lived one of the best years of my life in this college. Although, the college is not as hyped as others but it provides all the facilities that a college should. It’s a girls’ college. This college is really great where students come to study from various cultural backgrounds. I opted this college as I wanted to study Psychology; and in DU only few colleges offer Psychology.     My overall experience is very good in this college. I chose this college because of its infrastructure, its NIRF ranking, and societies. This college’s fee is more than other colleges. You should go to this college because the teachers and seniors are very helpful, organisation of fests and other activities are full of fun and enjoyment.     If I talk about my college, in the beginning I didn't like it but when I spent my time I came to know that it is the best college of north campus. The faculty members, the students, and the non teaching staff are polite and they help us in each condition without any hesitation.     Daulat Ram College is located in North Delhi and is a part of North Campus. Having the best campus facility. College is clean, safe, and eco friendly. Our faculty i.e. Philosophy department is the best. They coordinate very well with students and are very helpful in every field. They support and guide us like our own parents.     Overall the college is great from faculty to administration to infrastructure all of it pretty impeccable. It provides you with all that you could expect from a good college and on top of it, it is a part of one of the most reputed university in India that is University of Delhi. DRC is really awesome....
