Review for RKGIT Ghaziabad

Overall Rating
I was searching all around for Engineering colleges. At that time I came to know about this college. My elder cousin brother also studied from this college. I think overall experience is neutral as it was neither very good nor very bad. If anyone asks me about this college to take admission I would say that take admission in the CSE (AI & ML) Branch.
 

Academics Rating
I am studying CSE because I have a great interest in the Computer Science domain. I took admission in CSE (AI & ML) Branch directly through the management quota. You can also get admission through your JEE Mains score. If you get 50 – 60% marks in your 12th exam from a reputed education board you can get direct admission in any branch that you want. Motive for taking CSE branch was simple as most of the students placed here are from CSE Branch.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is really very supportive. They will be with you in every case either you are in a big downfall or you are at your peak. They will always help you and reach out to you whenever you are in trouble. Their teaching background is not that much good. Many of the faculty members are fresher in the field of academics. A few of them have almost 3 – 4 years of experience. I would suggest that you need your hard work and self study for giving the best performance.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell in our college but it is not that much good. The best thing about placement in our college is that most of the students placed are from the CSE Branch. It helps students to find an on-campus job but you will get less salary. Most of the service based companies visit here.
 

Hostel Rating
I am day scholar so I don’t know much about the hostels. I only know about the fee which is Rs. 3 Lakhs for 4 years which include the mess charges as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is well developed. There are many blocks in our college. My classes were held in the H&F Block. Buildings are well maintained and the college is in 15 acres. Library is available in the college for 12*7 (from 8 am to 8 pm). It is one of the best libraries with an amazing library management. You can issue any book from library for a time period of 1 year and after that you have to renew it otherwise you have to pay penalty.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good here. I can't tell you about hostel life since I am a day scholar. But overall experience here is too good. We enjoy a lot in the college. Many fests are organized every year here and many famous celebrities are also invited in the fests. There are many societies in the college. I am the head of the CodeYanter Society.

    My overall review of the campus is not very good. I want to go to institutes like 'AKG' and 'JAYPEE', but my 12th PCM percentage was less and I could not pass the college criteria. I visited many colleges but could not find anything. My counselling percentile was also low which is why I could not get CSE in other colleges.     It’s an average college of NCR region. Good for Computer Science and Engineering Students. College has all the basic facilities and good infrastructure. The campus is not that much big but still it has playgrounds and courts with gym and canteen. Various extracurricular activities are organised on a regular basis in college campus....     RKGIT has a good reputation but on almost all counts that I will answer in the review the college has failed to deliver. The college has a dress code of white shirt, grey trousers, and maroon tie, which students rarely follow. When I initially joined the college, there were no rules as we can come back at any time we want.     From my perspective, a college will only help get you placed because I am working in the software industry for 4 years now, and now when I look back now, all I know is colleges in India only wants to make money. Most people will criticize Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology for its worst things, but people don’t see that RKGIT encourages students to prepare for GATE.
