KITS College Review

Overall Rating
Our college is situated in a village called Vinjanampadu in the Vatticherukuru Mandal in Guntur district. Our management stands first in helping students, collecting affordable fees from the student's side, and providing quality education with good facilities. The college area is in the middle of the fields with a refreshing environment making it a better place to study. I have chosen this college for the pleasant and calm environment along with the discipline that is maintained here.
 

Academics Rating
The course I opted for is Computer Science which is a trending course. Many sub-divisions are also added in this course such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data structures and Algorithms, and Big Data. The entrance exam is EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test). After completing Intermediate, students have to qualify for this test to become eligible for taking admission here.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are all highly qualified professors. They have a minimum of 5 years of experience each. Most of them have completed their PhD and published research and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Papers. They also boost final-year students to do paper publications in their respective branches. The faculty members also teach manners, discipline, and ethics apart from the subject.
 

Placement Rating
Top Multi-National Companies visit our college every year for recruiting. Nearly 40% get placed in MNCs, 10% in product-based companies, and 20-30% in startup companies and other small companies. Some students even get 3 or more offers. Our placement officer really works hard for providing students these jobs. Getting a job in our college is not difficult for an average student. Additionally, our college provides training in aptitude, verbal, and technical skills.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are well packed, always clean and neat, and have a calm environment. One can stay there happily without worrying about their roommate's culture, and behavior. Hostels provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The food is well cooked with cleanliness. It has Wi-Fi, a hot water facility, and allows mobiles for communicating with family members.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have two buildings and two separate playgrounds. Fresher students are treated specially on their starting days and for them, a separate building is provided. We have a gym for boys, a nice canteen with hygienic food, a store available, a digital library, and a well-organized central library with journals, novels, magazines, and core subject books. We also have solar panels installed, and a wastewater recycling system for eco-friendly purposes.
 

Campus Rating
The campus has 3,000-3,500 students and more than 250 staff members. Many events are celebrated by inviting guests like police, retired employees, government authority members, industrialists, etc. KITS YUVA is the fest celebrated in our college. All the students enthusiastically participate in the fest which lasts for 2 days. It is one of the biggest college fests in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. For student enhancement, we have clubs such as Jeevan Kaushal, Innovation Club, and Infomac.

    My parents selected this college because it is known for its strict discipline among all the colleges in Guntur. Its location in Etukutu makes it easily accessible compared to other engineering colleges. I am delighted with the college management and the various facilities provided.
