As one of the most renowned universities in Haryana that offers students great chances, I picked Computer Engineering. The fact that our course is so intently focused on business demands is its best feature. There is less room for improvement. Students should concentrate on club activities. Extracurricular activities abound. In our college, one or more events are planned each week. More people are on campus, yet the atmosphere is pleasant. Scholarships are widely available for students in need. Industries, stores, and a metro station with good connections surround our campus.

JC Bose University, formerly known as YMCA, is one of the best Engineering colleges of Faridabad. Hence entry in such a prestigious college is quite difficult. This college considers JEE mains as an entry level requirement for admission. Moreover, your rank should be close to 30,000 to get Computer Engineering or Data Science.

The majority of the highly educated faculty is either pursuing Doctorates or Master's Degrees in Technology from the same or separate universities. In terms of student ratio, our class has roughly 60% boys and 40% girls. Because everything was covered in class, term exams are always held on time and are passable with only a little preparation. Additionally, Presentations and Expert Webinars are routinely organized to offer useful insight into business requirements.

The college's placement situation is pretty favorable. Students begin receiving internships in their fifth semester and job placements in their sixth semester. Numerous firms, including Samsung, Yamaha, Maruti Suzuki, and Infosys, make frequent visits to the campus with substantial packages. However I am a day scholar and don't know much about the hostels but few things which I came to know about hostels from my friends are that hostels have fans, tube lights, Samsung LED displays, and whiteboards in the rooms. Only first-year students are allowed in the hostel and the meal quality is satisfactory plus no food waste is done. You must submit the hostel costs during entrance counseling, and despite the hostel having saline water, you get everything there. Yes, you can use this facility to rent an apartment or flat in Sectors 10, 8, and 7. The annual hostel fee is Rs. 20,000.

The Infrastructure of the college is quite old and small. The entire college is spread in 20 acres. Our college's facilities and buildings are subpar. Summertime classrooms are muggy, but those with management and business classes are better. Outside of the labs, Wi-Fi is slow, and mobile coverage is spotty. Good and well-focused library is there. The medical facility is excellent and has everything you need. Games and sports are mediocre.

A typical day at the YMCA According to me, there are numerous activities that might sharpen our intellect. College students have access to a variety of organizations and club activities that host exciting events like coding competitions, expert talks, and other events that are both technical and non-technical. Although the classrooms are large, the amenities are only adequate; there are no air conditioners. The Annual Culmyca festival has not occurred from the past two years.
