GNITS a top engineering college for women

Overall Rating
G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Sciences is a women's college. It is NAAC and NBA accredited. It is known for its placements and standards. The admission process is fair. It is done based on the EAMCET rank or JEE rank. There is also an NRI quota.
 

Academics Rating
I am in the Information Technology branch. I got into this college through category B i.e, the JEE mains rank. I joined in this branch because coding fascinates me and in this college, most of the IT students get a good package job. The faculty of this branch has high qualifications. Yes, the subjects are very deep and help in getting profound knowledge that helps us in getting good jobs.
 

Faculty Rating
We have a very qualified faculty with each having a minimum of 5 years experience and there are people who have 20 years and above experience too. They teach the subject very well and are always available to solve the doubts.
 

Placement Rating
The training and placement cell suggests us good courses that help us in getting good job. Very reputed companies like JP Morgan come to our college for recruitment. The highest package was of 12 LPA by JP Morgan. Average package is of 4 LPA. Majority of the students like 60-70% end up with a good job.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is poor I must say. Since it’s a women's hostel, no men are allowed. Each room consists of 6-8 students. I am not aware of the hostel fee since I'm a day scholar. I have heard that the food is bad. And the hoteliers are losing weight since they don't eat the food there. The security is very strict. No day scholars are allowed inside and the hoteliers can't go out after 7.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is really huge. Each branch has a separate block. The library is of 2 floors and it gets the latest editions regularly. The laboratories seem old but maintained well. The classrooms are very dusty and old. The ground is amazing. The badminton court can be developed more. The canteen can be made good with better seating and cleaner cooking place. There is no proper medical and emergency support.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is very green and looks too beautiful. We have many clubs like smskruthi for cultural activities, etc. Many events are conducted. Many films also have been shot in my college. Many sports events and annual day have been conducted. Karanam Malleswari has been the chief guest for our sports fest recently.

    I have written ECET exam to join this college. I have got 99 branch rank in ECET. As for my knowledge I came to know about this college through my brother. This college provides good facilities and infrastructure to a student to nurture herself. It is a women college. So, my family thought there will be many job opportunities for women to empower themselves.     Actually, I got 3k rank in EAMCET, so to my bad or good my parents, I joined this because it is a women's college and will have more security. In addition to this, it also provides hostel, which attracted parents much. The study here is good, teachers teaching are good, and college architecture is better. So I suggest joining here....     Students in our college have high chances of getting placed in top companies like Amazon, Flipkart, JP Morgan, etc. as our college has 100% placements. Teachers also provide quality education here. There are lots of other skill development programs conducted like Personality Development Course and many more for the development of the students....
