CU Chandigarh Review

Overall Rating
Overall the university is very good. It has good placement opportunities as well as a very well maintained campus with excellent infrastructure and so many other activities like sports, theatre, singing, dancing, etc. At end I'll only say about the overall performance that getting admission in Chandigarh University is a great opportunity for you to enjoy your college life with great memories and also the most important thing is career and here you will have great success too.
 

Academics Rating
If I talk about academics they are also very good at Chandigarh University. You have 2 semesters per year and each semester has 2 mid-term exams and at the end of semester we have our end-term exams. We have 3 units per semester in 1st mid-term, 1 unit in 2nd mid-term, and whole 3 units in end-term along with practical examination.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is overall good at the CU and with such a great knowledge not only about their particular subjects but for the other ones too. Teachers help the students a lot with solving their doubts and by giving practice questions too. We have to submit assignment per unit as described above about 3 units and teachers also take surprise test per unit. So overall in a semester we have to give 3 assignments as well as a surprise test.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities are very great at the university as many high rated companies came to take employees from Chandigarh University as in the present year it is also ranked no. 1 among private universities all over India. This is going have a great positive effect in the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are also good. I have opted for a 4 sharing room in the hostel. Each student has their own separate bed with one chair, cupboard, and a study table. We have 4 times meal and they are breakfast, lunch, evening tea time, and then dinner.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Chandigarh University is usually famous for its infrastructure as it has an excellent infrastructure with different blocks according to different courses. It has so much greenery which adds 5 stars to its beauty also in campus there are large cafeteria areas at different spots.
 

Campus Rating
I don't have words to explain campus life as it is has been so much fun and especially during fest. The university has fest every year which is of two days and there is a lot of fun in those two days with so much beautiful memories with the friends those are like family to you. Besides this many events keep happening everyday in different departments which is also a great opportunity to showcase your skills.

    Here, campus life is too good for students. They organize many events for the students’ development. There is a balance between studies and co-curricular activities.     I found this university good. I won't say it is the best university to study in but yeah it is worth studying if you aren't able to get admission in any NLU or any other better law college. Our department, I will say is the best department of the university. We have learned a lot of things from the university so far. We were welcomed by a grand event which was international law conference and our Law minister Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal was the chief guest that day. They had also invited many other Su...     Overall, Chandigarh University is one of the best universities in India in the aspect of infrastructure, campus, co-curricular activities, sports, on-campus placements, hostel facilities, faculty, academics, etc. I choose Chandigarh University because of its good reputation for on-campus placements and academics.
