Gossner College B.Sc Review By Dharmesh Das

I am pursuing B.Sc in Gossner College, Ranchi in Physics Honors. Here I got direct admission on merit basis and hopefully I will complete my degree next year. I chose this institute as it's very close to my residence and very good to pursue my B.Sc Degree. I will recommend this college to those who are willing to take admission here. Other courses are also available in this college.

I am doing B.Sc in Physics and I chose this because I am quite good at it. To take admission you should be 12th pass from any Government or private school or college. Directly you can get admission in this college and sometimes written exam are also taken for consideration. A huge batch of 160 to 200 students of each branch is there. Getting admission in this college is not difficult compared to other colleges like St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi.

Here the professors are excellent and provide good quality education. They are like parents to the students. Their techniques of teaching and explaining each topic to the root level is unbelievable. All the professors have 10 to 15 years of teaching experience and all have great knowledge of their subjects.

No, we don't get a placement drive like B.Tech students.

No, we don't have residential facilities in our college.

Our college has a huge campus. Like other colleges here every department has its own block like Physics, Mathematics, and Arts. It has a huge library for professors and students. For events and celebration there is a separate building. We have different blocks for labs and for practical periods. We got a huge auditorium for events.

We celebrate every national festival and fests organised by college authorities like annual day, college establishment day, and other events takes place at our college. We have different clubs like environment, physics, sports, math, and others where students become a part and uplift their clubs. We also have an entertainment club in which most of the students are there.
