Som Lalit Institute of Computer Applications is the best college for any Bachelors of Computer Applications student. Som Lalit is a private college but it is affiliated with Gujarat University so all the examinations are held by Gujarat University and you will get certified by the Gujarat University only. It is the top college of Ahmedabad and many companies come for placements.

I will give a five out of five rating for academics of this institute. If you are searching for a college where students get placed at big tech companies then this is the one. You will be taught the latest current market relevant technology like Android Development, Web Development, Full Stack Web Development, Data Analysis, and Python so that you can get into the fields of AI and Machine Learning. You can crack interviews of big tech companies like Google and Microsoft by working harder and if you are working on your Data Structures Problem Solving Skills, then it will also be taught by the college very clearly and deeply.

Som Lalit Institute of Computer Applications has the well known and experienced faculties that are working with current technology too and are very knowledgeable. If a student has any query then the faculty meets them personally and clears their doubts. They will not teach you only what is in the syllabus, in fact they will teach you what the demand is in the current technical industry which is a very good thing for the students.

The institute has a high ratio of students’ placements. Every year 70% students get placed at big companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and many more. 30% of the students do not take placements because they go for higher studies. Projects are made by students so that they get placed very easily.

There are no hostel facilities provided at Som-Lalit Institute of Computer Applications according to me.

The college has very good infrastructure. College events and parties are held at the ground floor of the college. For admissions 2nd floor is always available and there is also a lab for computer practical. There is a 7-floored building which looks very attractive. All students are very interactive and they always help other students to grow and there are many communities where all the details are provided.

The campus of the college is good but I would rate it 4 out of 5 as there is not any canteen for the students where we can eat our food or even purchase food. Campus area is not so large that is why there is always a crowd. If you are student who lives far away to this college then you can bring your personal vehicles or come with AMTS or BRTS bus. This college is near Gujarat University and more nearer to St. Xavier’s College.
