Overall Rating
My college is situated at Dhanbad, Govindpur. It has a huge campus with all the facilities and a very good hostel life for the students. It facilitates B.Tech Degree. I chose this college because of its huge campus and competitive environment. Many students get jobs at the campus placements at good companies like TATA Motors, Jindal, and many more.
 

Academics Rating
Here courses like EEE, ME, CE, CSE, Metallurgy, and Mining Engineering are available. To enter into these courses you have to attempt JECEB exam to get admission in this college. It's a Jharkhand based exam, eligibility is that the candidate must have 10th passed certificate and other necessary documents. After pursuing diploma degree you can opt for B.Tech itself in KK Polytechnic.
 

Faculty Rating
The management authority of this college is great. The professors are well educated from IITs and NITs so they provide high level of quality education. They are very good in terms of teaching and doubts clearance. They teach us through smart boards and we also get PDF notes for future references. The style of teaching is fantastic. Extra doubt classes are also conducted where we can clear any and all the doubts we have.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do get campus placements from different companies. We get a pretty good package of 5 to 7 LPA. The highest package till now is 7 LPA to a CSE student where he got placed in TATA Motors. Most of the metallurgy students get placed here as coal mines are there in Dhanbad.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostel facilities also in our college. It consists of 5 building two for girls and 3 buildings for boys both girls and boys hostel are separated. Here the mess cook serves good food to the students. Our hostel has 24/7 water supply and in winter we get warm water. We have warden for each girl’s hostel. We are not allowed to go out after 10 pm. There is a big park in the hostel. they get lady warden .we are not allowed to got outside after 10 pm and it has a big park .
 

Infrastructure Rating
For each department we have different blocks total we have 6 blocks for each department and workshop for each department. One big building for the management and there is also a canteen. For sports we have Football, Cricket, and Basketball grounds. For indoor games we have a separate building. For day scholars bus facility is provided. We have a temple inside for worship. We have a bank also inside the campus for students to fill their exam forms.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is great in KK Polytechnic. We celebrate different festivals and organise fests and competitions for the students. Bollywood singers like Sebastian Ben came for the concert and other singers as well. In our campus we organise Utsav fest where all other schools and colleges participate. We play teacher vs student cricket match on the occasion of teacher’s day.
