Overall Rating
St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology excels in nurturing talent with a strong focus on projects and industry collaborations. It provides students with valuable experiences. The modern infrastructure makes it an exceptional institution for Engineering.
 

Academics Rating
There are 5 departments in the college for B.Tech Course. Those are Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML).
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in this college is very supportive in each department. They are as friendly as professionals depending on the situation. If someone is having a problem with any kind of academics, they are always eager to help them.
 

Placement Rating
The college has a 97% placement record in the last 6 years. Medium to higher packages are offered by different companies.
 

Hostel Rating
I have not stayed in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The entire infrastructure is very well built, containing the latest equipment in the laboratories of all departments. Those labs are well organized and well supervised. Laboratory Assistants are way too friendly. The Library has a sufficient amount of books to fulfill all needs of students’ academics.
 

Campus Rating
The college is at Wattgaunge, Khidirpur, Kolkata. The college conducts yearly interdepartmental tournaments of Cricket, Football, Badminton, and Table Tennis. We have different Boys' Common Room and Girls' Common Room. Both have table tennis tables and 2 carom boards. The college even conducts yearly sports which is based on the individual performance.

    Till now my experience with this college is quite good. If I have any difficulties or doubts with any subject, I can approach the respective professors at any time. You must follow rules and regulations like dress code, beard, 75% attendance, if not then the fine will be considered, same as the school policy. You will feel like you are studying in the school rather than the college. Preferably, choosing this college was worth it as it was a better college nearer to me. After graduating from here...     St. Thomas College Of Engineering And Technology is a very prestigious and a very well reputed college. The atmosphere here is very good as well as the faculty. The facilities here are limited but enough good for students. This institution may be strict but it’s very well known for their successful alumni and the placements.     I took admission in this college in 2022, through WBJEE entrance exam. I took admission here in computer science and engineering branch. In my year closing cut-off of this CSE branch was closed at nearly 17000-18000 rank.     The college campus is good and it provides us a very good environment to study. I chose this college to make my dream of becoming an engineer come true.
