Kirori Mal College Review

Overall Rating
Kirori Mal College is an excellent institute with NIRF ranking 9 in all of India. It is an overall perfect college at the Delhi University. Here we have a hostel for boys, a sports complex, and the library is a great part of our college. Kirori Mal College has good facilities in the college building and also in the hostel. The teaching methods and security services are so excellent here.
 

Academics Rating
KMC is a part of the Delhi University so the admission process is the same followed by DU. Presently the admission is done through CUET that is held by NTA and after that KMC selects on the basis of marks scored in CUET. The college fee is different based on courses and categories. Entry in the college is only on the college ID without which you cannot enter the premises. The eligibility for admission is to be 12th pass from any board. KMC offers graduation courses.
 

Faculty Rating
In Kirori Mal College we have full faculty members. The professors here teach us the full syllabus with great interest and an amazing teaching method. They have almost 20 to 30+ years of teaching experience and apart from academics they give us lot of life lessons too. They help us during exam preparation and in bad times as well. Their background is Masters degree and even some hold PhDs as well. Their teaching style is great and all the students like their teaching methods.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in our college. That is a great help to provide lot of placements once our graduation is complete. The average placement package is 8 LPA. The college also provides us summer internship and some other paid and unpaid internship during graduation.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a hostel and I am also a resident of Kirori Mal College Hostel. In hostel we have a lot of facilities, there we have a mess and good quality food and a library along with a sports complex where we have all the sport facilities needed. The fee of the hostel is affordable. Also the environment of the hostel is great and good for all the students. We have a common hall for some meetings and other work. Security of the hostel is also good. You can enjoy full life in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Kirori Mal College is great and it has a new building. In the academic block, we have 4 lawns for plans and 3 parking for student and teachers, and we have a separate science block and an arts block. In the building we have proper AC and lights. We also have a lift service that you can use. In library we have all the facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus of the college is great for me and other students as it provides not only a degree but give all the knowledge of life as well. We have good crowd in college as the students here come from all over the nation and we learn a lot from each other. NCC and NSS are great organizations. Lots of societies are available here. Fests are held in the months of February and March which gives a great experience to us. All the sports activities are also so great.

    My overall experience at Kirorimal College, University of Delhi has been good till now. It has a diverse set of students from all streams - Commerce, Science and Arts. It has a good crowd though it is politically active. It is situated in North Campus. You can easily sign up for events happening in the nearby colleges and take part there. You'll get to interact with other people. The College’s back gate opens in Kamala Nagar. So, you can find PGs nearby. It was in my top 5 preference list.... Read Full Review
