BHU, Varanasi Review

Overall Rating
So first of all I would like to share that BHU gives overall development like personality development, communication skills, knowledge, crafts, discipline, and so on and I want to recommend all of you to join BHU. If you want quality education then you join this university as there is an environment of studying.
 

Academics Rating
I had chosen Bachelor of Arts because I want to become a professor. In this field BHU gave fantastic background to achieve my goals. My subjects are Geography, Ancient History, and Education. My Honors was Geography. F admission you have to give the BHU entrance exam or CUET entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
In my Geography Department there are 5 teachers and 1 professor. The faculty has done their Masters from top universities. I like the way of teaching of all the teachers.
 

Placement Rating
In my department the placement cell is not present.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, my hostel was awesome. In my 1st year I was in Kirti Kunj Hostel and in my 3rd year I was shifted into Pragya Kunj. Hostel facilities are available like pure and cold water, sanitation and geyser facilities were also available. The one thing I miss the most is the hostel food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Buildings are quite old. The washrooms are a bit average. Library section is very good. There are a lot of old books and also your course books actually and for this you have to make your library card for issuing the books from there.
 

Campus Rating
There is an auditorium which is not very large. Medical facilities are too good. Events like self defense, nukkad natak, etc. are performed occasionally. There are total 30,000 students in my college. For certain courses specific number of seats are available like for BA there are 700 seats available.

    As per IAS (Indian Agricultural Science), BHU is the 2nd NIRF ranking in India and 1st Agricultural university in India. Therefore, as I have to study from a best agricultural university and it is the best option. It has a yearly fee of 10000 INR only and hostel yearly fee of 5000 INR, providing a scholarship of 3000 INR per month to every student. As I am belonging to middle class, it is a best option....     As we all are aware that Banaras Hindu University is globally recognized university and one the prestigious university in India. The most important thing in making it so is the Academics part. As a student of Commerce department in BHU, I can tell you about my department only. Though it's not the best but I can confidently say that our faculty can easily make into top 10 institutes for Commerce students in India, especially for the B.com (Hons.).     The great legacy of the university known as Banaras Hindu University. It is one of the best University in Asia and the largest residential too. My college was Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and I chose it due to the fact that it had an excellent reputation and it had one of the most important things called a PG quota which helps a lot in future PG exams as well....
