Honest Review of Kolhan University, Chaibasa

Overall Rating
My overall experience in the college has been good. The environment of my college is so energetic. Campus area is small if we compare it with other colleges but still campus is so green and the teachers are all very well educated. Infrastructure of our college is quite good, old buildings are now renewed and all the amenities given by our college are well structured. I chose this college because for me it's a perfect choice as I am preparing for other exams also along with my friends and this college helps me so we get enough time to prepare for my exam.
 

Academics Rating
In my college academic courses are good. All the students of every year have their own lecture classes and also we have other labs for project works or for practice studies. All the classes are well equipped with projectors and smart boards which help us to understand or learn new concepts easily and apart from theoretical knowledge we also get practical knowledge. We get assignments, tests, and practice sheets from time to time which help us to improve and analysis our study pattern.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are good and for different courses we have different teachers. The way of teaching is very amazing because they are so friendly with all students. As per my knowledge some teachers are holding PhD degree and some have Masters degrees. So it’s like a river of knowledge in the college.
 

Placement Rating
In our college we don't have any placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
We also don't have hostel facilities and all students are day scholar but some students live in PGs or private hostels near the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of our college is good but not as good as other state government colleges because our college established many decades back. But in recent years most of the old buildings are now newly constructed and well maintained so it looks more beautiful now. We have all academic blocks for respective branches which help the students to study from time to time and other infrastructure like roads, pathway, corridor, garden, park, etc. are also good. All the lab facilities are fully up to the mark.
 

Campus Rating
In our college as I said we don't have lots of land for bigger campus, our campus is concise and the environment is good and green. The walking paths are good and nice atmosphere is there with trees all around. Many students hang around with their friends and we also have bank facilities in our campus which help students in many ways.

    This University is located in Chaibasa which is 25 km away from my hometown. This is the best university in chaibasa for bachelor's as well as master's degree. This University is next to DC office chaibasa. I chose this University because I don't want to go out of station area to pursue my B.Sc degree.     I got admission through counselling. It is nice college. My college name is D.B.M.S College of Education; it is under the affiliation of Kolhan University. Teachers are trained and well-educated. They are helpful in nature and encourage every student. Teachers also provide counseling to students related to mental health issues.... Read Full Review

    In our institute the overall experience is quite good as the teachers and the academic structure is also good. There are many sports facilities and other fests that are organised in the college. A good majority of teachers hold PhD degrees and the rest hold Masters degrees. This is the best college for me and I chose this institute because I am preparing for civil services so I get so much time during my preparation because there is no worry about the attendance.
