MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Review

Overall Rating
MSRIT is one of the most prestigious colleges in Bangalore. It has a great placement record. It ranks number 1 among all the VTU colleges. It has a very strong research and development department. MSRIT is one of the top colleges to choose from students coming from COMED – K or KCET. Campus life is also quite happening here.
 

Academics Rating
Admission in MSRIT is through the modes of COMED – K, KCET, and Management Quota. The courses offered are from CSE related branches to Electronics related branches and Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, and Industrial. Ramaiah has been a renowned name for Engineering in Civil and Mechanical. Placements in CSE and Electronics branches are also quite good.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Ramaiah is really very good. They have teachers that have done their education from IITs and NITs. Quality of teaching is quite good. They are really helpful and help the students not only in academics but also in the extracurricular activities. Lab assistants and other lab faculties are very helpful and also quite good.
 

Placement Rating
Placements in Ramaiah are very good. Companies like Mercedes Benz, Google, Amazon, Accenture, Jindal, etc. visit our campus. Most of our students get placed in these prestigious companies. Ramaiah is one of the few colleges in India where Mercedes Benz pays a visit.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels here are well equipped with all the essential equipment. There are hostels available that are ranging from different prices according to their facilities. Not only South Indian but also North Indian food is served in the mess.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus of MSRIT is not that big compared to IITs and NITs. MSRIT has its own research and development building. Library in MSRIT is present with all kinds of books. There are three libraries in MSRIT. There is a basketball court and a badminton court. There are several buildings namely LHC, Apex block, ESB, and Architecture building. It has its own playground which is 250 meters away from the main campus. It also has a common canteen.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is quite good in MSRIT. Clubs and labs are filled with latest equipment. One of the most prominent clubs of MSRIT is Edita club which has proven its mantel in foreign grounds. Clubs are ranging from activities like software related work to electronics to mechanical and to clubs like dancing, singing, comedy, etc.

    My overall experience has been great in this college. There have been so many activities and events to participate and enjoy in and so many clubs to join. The campus location is great. The campus is small and has good infrastructure. Teachers are great here. They are knowledgeable and very helpful. Our college is known for its decent internships and package among people.     My overall experience in this institute has been pretty decent. I found the campus life to be interesting. The infrastructure is well-developed but not as developed as IITs, NITs or any other well-known private colleges. Coming to the academics, the curriculum is updated every year. The faculties of this institute are very interactive, helpful and will listen to all your problems without any hesitation. The placements here are pretty decent as compared to mid-level NITs.     Overall Rating
    Overall the college is really good and those who get admission through entrance exams like KCET, COMEDK, etc. it is really worth but the cutoff in these exams are low. Get lowest rank as much as possible to get better admission. And through management quota the donation is somewhat higher. I'd recommend getting admission through entrance exams. Getting admission in this college is literally a big thing. Also the NIRF ranking is 78 for engineering currently in overall India.... Read Full Review
