IIITDM - The Review

Overall Rating
The college is pretty good to be honest. The college is growing at a very fast rate. If the rank you get has a chance for admission in the college just take it .The campus life is also improving, we have new roads being built. The sports enthusiasts have got a really good badminton stadium along with table tennis court.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are pretty decent too. The faculty is great and supportive. They are research oriented and encourage the students to do the same. Faculty encourages the students to understand the concepts individually and then give an overall explanation which is quite useful. The syllabus of CSE is also unique with minor programs.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good, supportive, and specialized in various research fields. They insist on self-studying and researching the topic. The first year faculty had been great. They hold doctorates from IITs and NITs. The faculty is research oriented and the style of teaching differs from each other. They hold discussions to improve us.
 

Placement Rating
As of now the placement news isn't official yet but it is said that the placements went really well this year.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are pretty decent with good Wi-Fi and single and double room sharing facilities are available separately for boys and girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As said the infrastructure is improving a lot. We have got new roads. The old building is decent but the new buildings are really good. The classroom interiors are really great with separate blocks for each and every department including one admission block. The newly admitted students can enjoy new classrooms.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is really good if you make new friends. The cool breeze every evening is the best. You can roam and spend time with friends and play games in the stadium as well as in front of hostels. There is NSS and NSO here and yes you have all the facilities you need, the only problem is the transportation.

    Overall the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kurnool with specialization in Design and Manufacturing is worth joining because it has potential for lot of growth in upcoming years for sure.     As I am from the neighboring state Telangana, I felt that this institute is near which was one of the reason to join this institute. Another reason was to pursue the field of my interest which is Computer Science and I got AI&DS branch. As this institute is of national importance, everything is monitored by the ministry of education.... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
    I choose this Institute over other Institutes due to good environment (situated at top of a hill). They provide particular branches for Artificial intelligence and data science. These are specializations in Computer Science. I got 32,573 rank in JEE Mains. Currently I am studying in this Institute in Artificial intelligence and data science branch.     I joined in the year 2022. By the time I joined the college there was the buildings for each department but within the year transport system, infrastructure, and all other system are improved.
