Kolhan University, Chaibasa Review

Overall Rating
In our institute the overall experience is quite good as the teachers and the academic structure is also good. There are many sports facilities and other fests that are organised in the college. A good majority of teachers hold PhD degrees and the rest hold Masters degrees. Our college is situated in a very small land but still the college life is good and all the facilities are given to us like other colleges.
 

Academics Rating
In our college academics are good. The entry requirements are based on results like if you have good results then you can get your dream branch. There are not any attendance requirements in the college so that gives me enough time for preparing for other examinations.
 

Faculty Rating
In our college the teachers are quite good as they hold PhD and Masters degrees. Their way of teaching and their behavior towards us is very good. They genuinely treat us like children and they are always available to clear our doubts. They always motivate the students for extracurricular activities and always encourage us to improve in academics.
 

Placement Rating
No placements are given by our institute.
 

Hostel Rating
No hostel facilities are provided in our institute.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In our college as I have mentioned before the campus area is very small but the infrastructure is quite good unlike other colleges. There are now some new buildings built in the past few years. We also have smart boards and projectors in our classes by which the learning experience is enhanced. We also have good infrastructure for sports in our college like there is a volleyball court, a cricket ground, etc. present.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life has been average. Most of the students are day scholars and the crowd is like unity in diversity as there are many students from different places that have joined the college. There are many clubs in our college and fests are also held so there are many engagement activities that happen like sports meet, annual functions, cultural fests, etc.

    This University is located in Chaibasa which is 25 km away from my hometown. This is the best university in chaibasa for bachelor's as well as master's degree. This University is next to DC office chaibasa. I chose this University because I don't want to go out of station area to pursue my B.Sc degree.     I got admission through counselling. It is nice college. My college name is D.B.M.S College of Education; it is under the affiliation of Kolhan University. Teachers are trained and well-educated. They are helpful in nature and encourage every student. Teachers also provide counseling to students related to mental health issues.... Read Full Review

    In this college my overall experience is not so good and not so bad. This is the best college for me and I chose this institute because I am preparing for civil services so I get so much time during my preparation because there is no worry about the attendance.     My overall experience in the college has been good. The environment of my college is so energetic. Campus area is small if we compare it with other colleges but still campus is so green and the teachers are all very well educated. Infrastructure of our college is quite good, old buildings are now renewed and all the amenities given by our college are well structured.
