Sri Shiva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering is located in OMR Chennai. It is an autonomous institution affiliated under the Anna University, Chennai. It is the most popular college in Chennai and lots of students are studying in this college from all over Tamil Nadu and other states. SSN College has a good placement record and infrastructure in Chennai district. It comes under the top 3 college in Tamil Nadu. The study environment and the college location are very good compared to others. They provide lots of resources to enhance our self studies. The placement is the best reason to choose this college as they provide 100% placements.

It is an autonomous institution that comes under Anna University, Chennai so the syllabus is fully framed by SSN team. The syllabus is updated every year. Exams are conducted by the same institute. So the question papers are based on understanding only. The eligibility of the college admission is to score good marks in 12th board exams. 90% is the cutoff score to get a seat in the same college. Lot of quotas like 7.5% reservation and rural topper quota for poor people are available to get seat in this college.

The faculty members are well trained and at least completed Master’s Degree. Most of the faculty members have completed their Doctorates too. They have good knowledge in practical learning and some of them are friendly and punctual. They provide advice to get placements in future and to develop our knowledge.

Best hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. They provide good quality of food and good facilities too. They provide separate hostels for separate year students.

The college is located at a main place in Chennai. The infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges. Separate blocks and hostel for every student and for every department respectively is provided. Best lab facilities and good specifications containing computers and kits are present in every year and department laboratories.

The campus life is always best because every year our college clubs and every department conduct events and symposiums. Our college management also conducts lots of cultural events and cultural fests. My college life is best because I got good friends and faculty members who are good well wishers and care takers.
