SRM University, Sonipat Review

Overall Rating
University facilities are very amazing. There are air conditioned classrooms. Campus life is very good as it is a well planned campus. The labs at the university are very good and even there are MAC systems present. Workshops are held regularly for all the departments. The faculties at the university are very good with professional teaching skills.
 

Academics Rating
Any 12th pass candidate can apply here. The fee structure is also good and a lot of programs are offered. They give 100% scholarship also to the students. The scholarship is given on the basis of a test conducted and 12th marks. There are all types of machinery in the labs. Many cafeterias are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very good as all of them are PhD holders. They have very well teaching skills and they are friendly towards the students. They always clear all our doubts and are always available for the students.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are very good and the university has tie ups with many international companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are available but they are very costly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very good. It is a university with 7 buildings, a hospital, 4 hostel buildings, 3 grounds, 1 big sports complex, an auditorium, canteens, and cafes. The entire campus has good air conditioning. Parking facilities for students and teachers are available in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good as the crowd is very big and there are many international students also in the campus. Many events happen every year. Lots of clubs are available here. Many activities are done like nukkad drama, cricket, football, hockey, racing, kho kho, basketball, chess, carom, dancing, singing, open – mic, skating, badminton, etc.

    Overall performance of this college is good. I would say it’s a 7 on 10. This college is accredited A++ grade by NAAC. According to me you can have better options.     The Infrastructure of SRM University is nice and it has facilities like elevators and escalators in the buildings. Overall, life is not very happening here because the university is located in a remote area and you might find public transport to be a little far away.... Read Full Review

    One of my sister's friend who was an alumni of SRM AP recommended me SRM and suggest me to give its entrance test SRMJEEE. I secured pretty decent marks and avail 25% scholarship. If you maintain your CGPA above 9 in all semesters then you can get 100% scholarship. This was one thing that I really liked about the college instead of being a private university.     Overall, the campus life the infrastructure and everything makes it a good choice. You can go for this college if you want to study engineering. The course is quite decent, the teachers are very knowledgeable, they will help you always one of the main things that concern anyone is that transport connectivity of our college is not well, it's not well connected with the transports; you have to go out of the Rajiv Gandhi education area to get some public transports. other than that everything is go...
