Honest Review of the Deshbandhu College, New Delhi

Overall Rating
I feel so lucky to have this college in my life. It's an amazing college. When I got admission in this respected college I was really confused that is this college good for me or not but at present I am so happy that I chose this college. Many extracurricular activities are conducted by this college so that the students can explore in a diverse way.
 

Academics Rating
This college provides many courses like Hindi Honors, English Honors, Botany, Zoology, Math, and many more. The eligibility criteria are different as per different courses. I am a Hindi Honors student so for getting admission in this course you must give CUET exam with Hindi subject. For admission in any course at this college you have to give the CUET Exam.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers at the college are just very good and I can confidently say that they are the best teachers I have ever met in my life. They provide a lot of study materials too. Their teaching style is amazing as whatever they teach is more than enough for the semester exams.
 

Placement Rating
In my course there are no placements so I don’t know much about that but there is a placement cell in our college which is very active.
 

Hostel Rating
Unfortunately there are no hostels provided by the college. There are many PGs nearby the college and you can live there in an affordable price.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of my college is developing day by day. There are many beautiful buildings. There is an administration block, a cafeteria, a canteen, a cricket ground, a sports room, a gym, NCC ground, an old block, a new block, a science block, and a P block present in the college. Common rooms for girls and boys are provided. All the areas are very well maintained.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very much interesting and I just love this life. There are many societies available like dance society, singing society, NCC, NSS, debate society, and many more. The college organises a fest every year called Sabrang which is very popular among Delhi University. Overall our college is amazing.

    I got admission in Deshbandhu College by the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) of Delhi University. As it's not among the mainstream colleges of DU, so I was doubtful about it. But when I went to this college on the very first day I was relieved as this is one of the best colleges I've ever visited to.     Overall Rating
    The college is very good and has ample opportunities for students. We can grow our skills and widened our network with other alumni. It has other upsides also like campus space is sufficient and nearby societies is also good. The only downside is that there is no football ground. The admission process is online so kind of slow and is through CUET. The college has cafeteria and canteen at two different sites. Moreover, it has good space. Food is okay. Tea is good....     There has always been a conflict between north and south campus of Delhi University. Most of us have an inner instinct of choosing north campus of course because those red bricked walls, air conditioned rooms, better placements and what not. But we don't always land up in life where we want to and I think sometimes that leads us to a better passage.     Deshbandhu College is the best college for Bachelor's of Arts courses, in all of South Campus. It's especially known for BA Political Science Hons. and BA Sanskrit Hons. Courses. The institution provides excellent opportunities for the holistic growth of students and prepares them for the professional journey ahead.     My overall experience at the college is good. There are many societies and clubs to join and interact with new people and learn new skills. The faculty members are also good at teaching and give good hands on experience.
