At first I want to tell you all that ITER (Institute Of Technical Education and Research), of Siksha O Anusandhan University, is an extraordinary college, many students come here to pursue their courses of B.Tech, BCA, MCA, and many more. Students from foreign like Bhutan, Nepal, Sudan, and Syria also come here to pursue respective courses. It has been ranked 27th in Engineering this year, by NAAC and has a colorful and green campus. It also supports extracurricular activities and has various societies and clubs which are renowned in the eastern zone. What made me choose this college that it has 100% placement of their students in various MNCs and also encourage new start-ups. I would suggest all of you to enroll in ITER as it will make your future bright.

Specific courses are Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor in Computer Applications, Masters in Computer Applications, and many more that are offered here. The entry requirements are fulfilled through JEE Mains exam or SAAT exam conducted by the university itself. The eligibility criteria is to be having a science background in their respective 12th standard, with Physics, Chemistry, and Math as compulsory subjects. Your motive for enrollment must be to attain technological knowledge to solve real life problems and be an asset to your family and society.

The faculty is brilliant here, they all are well-versed with their respective subjects and taught us mesmerizingly in an easy way. Specially all of our faculties are passed out from IITs, NITs, and from renowned colleges, they all are friendly towards their students and ensure that each and every student learns.

Yes, we have a placement cell here, and it actually helps the students to acquire jobs in the industry. They ensure that each and every student gets placed in different companies with a good package.

Yes, we have residential facilities in our college, consisting of 12 boys’ hostels and 5 girls’ hostels. We all have rooms available of 2, 3, and 4 sharing and have an option of AC and Non AC. The infrastructure is nice and on daily basis the rooms are cleaned and are sanitized. Recreational activities include indoor games like table tennis, chess, carom, etc. and we celebrate all festivals with full enthusiasm.

We have 7 blocks which are operational for various things. Like A block is the fees and academics department, B block is for mechanical department, C block is dedicated for computer science department, D block is for physics and chemistry department, E block is for electrical department, F block is for civil department, and G block is for some labs and classes. There is a Bansuri Guru auditorium with various halls for different webinars and functions. The blocks are well maintained and cleaned thoroughly on daily basis. Toilets are available on all the floors.

Overall campus life is awesome here, and has a huge crowd of students of different years, different clubs and societies are there like Toneelstuk – the dramatics society, Danza – the dance club, SOA music club, Codex coding club, Odanza, SOA Fablab, Shristi – the art club, SOA flying community, SOA photography club, Virtual showreel, and many more. They conduct different activities in the college and in the university periodically whenever there is requirement.
