Excellent Faculty and best infrastructure institute

Overall Rating
Our institute is a private educational institution. It is present in Indore and it was established in the year 1952. It is a leading institute of MP. It is approved by AICTE and UGC. In the year 1989 it was declared as an autonomous college. Best part about this institution is it provides all kinds of support with very less price. The curriculum activities are very high. I also feel my personal growth.
 

Academics Rating
They provide both UG and PG courses. But I joined BE in Computer Engineering. The admission process is very strict because you have to score good rank in JEE mains to take admission. But the college fee is also very less. They take Rs. 75,000 per year. For other courses like M Tech they accept GATE score and M Sc and ME courses are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
There are 15 teaching faculty and 6 lab and other facilities are present in our department. Out of 15, 3 faculty members have PhD degrees and others have ME and M Tech degrees. Faculty helps in clearing doubts, helps in project as well as lab work, and they provide notes also which helps in semester exams.
 

Placement Rating
From the 6th semester students are eligible for placement support. Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. are some companies that come for placement drives. In 2023 almost 80% student got placed with an average package of 5 LPA. Our institute’s highest package is 44 LPA. They also conduct grooming sessions.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel accommodation is available for both boys and girls and the prices are same which is Rs. 45,000 per year. They also take security fees of Rs. 4,000 extra which is refundable. There are 4 boys’ hostel and 3 girls’ hostel which has 2 / 3 sharing rooms. Near this institution various PGs are available. The hostel campus area is very small. The food quality is clean and hygienic. Purified water is also available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is very good. There is a big central library present, central workshop, hostel, and for lectures quarters are available. Guest house is available. 1 big auditorium room is present. Institute is having sports grounds like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, netball, kabbadi, and athletic ground.
 

Campus Rating
Life at this institute is very much enjoyable. Every year annual sports meet "Varchasva" is conducted. They also conduct inter-college tournaments. Clubs like NCC, NSS, Photography club, Music and Dance club, Electrical club which name is Sparkle are available. They also conduct fresher’s day and convocation day. We celebrate lots of festivals like Holi, Diwali, New Year, etc.

    Overall Rating
    I experienced a great vibe while entering in this institute, with a lush green 35 acre campus and a good Infrastructure. The staff is supportive here and also you get good placement opportunities because of a good alumni and an excellent training and placement cell. If one wishes to excel in his/her career then SGSITS Indore is definitely one of the best places to start a journey. Also you get the advantage of residing in city centre.... Read Full Review

    Overall the college is for you if you are serious about your career. Campus size is small. Placements are not that out of the box but still I choose this college as my JEE Mains score was enough to get into it.     My overall experience in this college is quite good. It has good campus, infrastructure, and well qualified faculty. The placements number is quite impressive and there are many clubs in the college like for dance, music, sports, and many more.
