GCET review

Overall Rating
Overall the Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is good. There are so many activities done in this college. No hectic attendance criteria are there in the college. The placement in this college is quite good but onluy mass recruiting companies and start ups visit for hiring. Internships opportunities in this college are very less. The college is spread only in 20 acres.
 

Academics Rating
The academic curriculum is run according to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The curriculum isn’t updated. You will get many clubs for different activities. Entry in this college is on the basis of JEE Mains rank. Some seats are reserved for the management quota. The motive for getting enrolled in this college is mainly for getting good placement.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties in this college are well qualified. But their teaching style is more theory oriented and less practical oriented. The faculty member are knowledgeable and mainly PhD holders or have at least a Masters degree. Faculty is so helpful in nature.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is placement department in our college. Mostly students get job in college. Mainly mass recruiting companies come in college for placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is a hostel in college. But their fee is very high approx 1 LPA. One hostel for girls and one for boys is available in this college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of college is modern and very good. There are so many blocks in our college like five blocks for students’ study, two hostel buildings, and biggest central library. Library is so good and well stocked as it has all the books and magazines available. The Library is fully AC and Wi-Fi enabled. In the academic block only Computer Science and Information Technology classrooms are available.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is good in comparison with other Delhi NCR colleges. There is an official 75% attendance criteria but if you have 50% attendance then also you are allowed to give semester and internal exams. There are so many activities that are conducted like music, gamming, fashion, coding, etc. Many competitions are organised by the students. The biggest fest in Delhi NCR is organised by our college. Many actors come in the college for their film promotions. Overall college life is good and active in college.

    The overall structure of Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is very decent. My JEE mains score was not good for any government institutions but still I want to take CS branch. So I chose this college and the college is good till now. The campuses are not so big but you will enjoy here. And the infrastructure is also good here.     Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is pretty good private engineering college, it has decent placement record and a fairly good college life. One thing that stands out is that it stands equal with other private colleges but it is more affordable than other colleges.
