IIITDM Kurnool review

Overall Rating
The overall review of the institute is good. My experience at this college is not bad. There are almost all facilities for students. But there is somewhat issue in travelling from college to city; there is a lack of transport facility. The college in under development. Most probably it will complete its whole construction in less than a year.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility for the admission in this college is based on the JEE mains rank. The Academic is well planned. For the CS students the main core courses start from the 3rd semester. 1st and 2nd semesters also contain core courses for CS but main starts from the 3rd semester. There is almost no ragging.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties that teach the present courses are good. They move on friendly with the students. They have also completed their studies from reputed colleges like NIT etc. Their teaching style is good. They interact with the students frequently.
 

Placement Rating
The college placements are done in the 4th year. The highest package is 1.3 CPA from Amazon. The average package is 10 LPA. The list of companies is provided on the official website. Companies like Amazon, TCS, etc. visit the campus for hiring the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are residential facilities for students and faculty too. The faculty residential quarters are built recently.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is under construction. Most construction will be completed in less than 8 to 9 months. Different blocks for different branches are being constructed. Most probably by the end of this year each branch students will have separate blocks. It's like to 5-6 blocks for college excluding hostels.
 

Campus Rating
There overall campus like is good. There are different clubs in the college like Astronomy Club, Music Club, etc. The students can join any club based on their interests. NSS and NSO are also present in the college. For the students, indoor stadium for badminton is present in the college (SVP stadium). College staff and Director encourage participating in NSS and NSO. As a part of the NSO, our college performed in Inter-IIIT Sports Meet which is held in the IIIT Kancheepuram.

    Overall the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kurnool with specialization in Design and Manufacturing is worth joining because it has potential for lot of growth in upcoming years for sure.     As I am from the neighboring state Telangana, I felt that this institute is near which was one of the reason to join this institute. Another reason was to pursue the field of my interest which is Computer Science and I got AI&DS branch.     Overall Rating
    I choose this Institute over other Institutes due to good environment (situated at top of a hill). They provide particular branches for Artificial intelligence and data science. These are specializations in Computer Science. I got 32,573 rank in JEE Mains. Currently I am studying in this Institute in Artificial intelligence and data science branch.
