Overall Rating
My experience at the Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur
was good. As the college is very feasible it is really good for students from middle class families. The SLIET provides all facilities at a minimum cost. The teachers are very good and they help students whenever it is needed. The college also provides good study material that is available in the library and also has a study center.
 

Academics Rating
In SLIET many Courses are done Such as diploma, B.E. , M. Tech and Ph.Ds. In B.E. students can also enter through JEE Mains Exam and Lateral entry after diploma. For Admission in diploma and B.E. college Conducted exam. For admissions one needs to have a good rank according to the JOSAA that is released every year.
 

Faculty Rating
In the SLIET there are very good teachers available. The teachers also suggest the books to the students and also provide online study material to them. Whenever the teachers need to give any information then they inform on time and also conduct online sessions. All the teachers are qualified from good institutions of the country.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the SLIET has a good Placement Cell and helps with all the things that are needed in placements such as aptitude, communication skills, technical knowledge, etc. Also the cells have connections with good companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides hostel facilities inside the Campus for Both boys and girls. The college has 4 girls hostels and 10 boys hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The SLIET has a very big academic block where all academic work is done. The academic block is very good and provides all the students’ information regarding documents and many other things on time. There are other departments also here such as Mechanical, Chemical, Food, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic.
 

Campus Rating
The SLIET has a very big campus i.e. 450 acres and all the things like shops, gym, and swimming pool are available inside the campus. The college provides a fully green environment. There are many clubs in the college such as the Happy Club, NSS, NCC, and technical clubs such as Endeavour, Green Rangers and many more.

    Overall, our college is quite good. Like other engineering colleges, it has some good things, and some parts of the college need to be improved. Campus is beautiful; all the amenities are fulfilled whereas placement needs to be improved. I choose this college because of the rank I obtained in the entrance examination. I would recommend this CFTI college to all students who are unable to make into IITs, NITs or IIITs.... Read Full Review

    Overall I would say this college is good. You may think the campus is in a remote location but many top colleges with huge areas are also in such locations. If you are getting it you can take it. But remember on-campus placement is not as high as IITs and good NITs have. You have to work a lot to get a high salary in tech jobs(not sure about non-tech jobs). College has all the facilities from digitalized classroom, library to food and roaming areas inside the college campus.     Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is really a good college, the first thing I noticed after entering it was its large 150+ acres campus. Literally, like a national forest that has very large containing lakes, gardens etc. Then we come to the buildings which are too magnificent. It has departments such as Computer Science, Electrical and Instrumentation, Electronics, and Food and Chemical.
