Overall our college is good to average for students to join. Basically for those students who are interested in academics are highly recommended to join the college since our college has good infrastructure and good faculty members for education and academics. But in terms of sports and extracurricular activities our student lacks behind as compared to other Delhi University colleges and needs improvement. Overall experience of the college is great.

In terms of academics our college is excellent for students. Talking about the eligibility criteria and requirements, as DDUC comes under Delhi University, so at my time of admission the cut offs released for different courses were based on the marks you get in class 12th and based on the eligibility you were provided the course. But now the admission process has changed and CUET has been introduced by Delhi University and for admission of students in the college you will be required to give an entrance exam and based on your merit you will be provided the college. I chose B. Sc honors Mathematics because I have a deep interest in math and in research field and will pursue Masters Degree in math after my graduation. It is a highly theoretical course in which you will learn about theorems and complex analysis that will go deep into math.

Faculty members of our college are excellent and have Masters qualification in their respective fields. All the professors hold doctorate degree and are highly skilled in teaching and have a past experience of 15 + years. Even one of our Professor Ratnesh Ranjan Saxena sir has his book being published which you may Google about him. Every faculty has their own way of teaching. They are very supportive and are always ready to help students if in need. Also no pressure of assignments or homework is given by them.

Our institute do have a placement cell that is responsible for providing time to time placements and internship alerts to students via College ID. Basically some courses have good placements while some have zero. Courses like B. Com Honors, B. Sc Statistics, and Mathematical Science have high placement options while B. Sc students have lower placements.

As I am a regular student I have little bit idea about hostel. When I used to visit my friends’ room it was fully air conditioned. Also the hostel students get free Wi-Fi and food involved in their fees infrastructure. There are separate blocks for male and female students.

Our college has the best infrastructure in the entire Delhi University. All rooms and halls are fully air conditioned and also every hall has a projector for e-learning and every classroom has an accommodating strength of minimum 50 students and some halls have maximum of 100. Free Wi-Fi for students, good college library, good canteen, and basics amenities like clean washroom and drinking water are always available. In terms of infrastructure no student will have a single complain about its maintenance.

Campus life is overall average as one of the basic disadvantages of our college is in terms of area. Our college lacks space when it comes to ground also the crowd is average. Fests happen in our college every year during the month of March and are restricted to DDUC students only. Other engagement activities and societies like SRC, NSS, and various other societies are highly active which overall helps the development of the students.
