My experience about CMR college of engineering and technology

Overall Rating
The overall college experience of mine is good and the environment of the college is good and well established blocks for the students are present. Our college has mainly 3 blocks. The first block has the principal’s chamber, administration department, and classrooms for 1st year students. The second block has the remaining year students and the third block is the library; it has well defined books. The college is spread across around 5 acres of land and has total of 5 colleges of the CMR Group.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are good and the course curriculum is relevant to the subject and easily understood by the students. There are two entrance exams EAMCET and ECET. EAMCET is for the intermediate students and ECET for the diploma students. Based upon the merit rank there is a chance of reducing fee in the management quota. The classrooms are neat and well maintained and there are industrial visits for the students for easy understanding of the subject.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in the college is well experienced and knowledgeable and their qualification was PhD and M. Tech. Some faculty’s qualification is B. Tech also and all the faculty teaching quality is not good. Experienced faculty teaching is good and the fresher faculty is not good and we should maintain the goodness with the faculty after our education they also helps us by their influence and the knowledge skills
 

Placement Rating
The placements in our college are more as compared to other colleges and the packages are starting from 4 LPA to 40 LPA and the top recruiting companies are Accenture, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Simens, Mindtree, etc. The placement cell is actively run by the students and the faculty and every student acquires the minimum basic job in this college.
 

Hostel Rating
The infrastructure of the department, the classrooms, and the hostel is good and well maintained. The hostel is situated in the campus for girls and outside the college for boys and the timings are strict and disciplined. The food quality and quantity is acceptable and average. There are 4 beds in a room and there is no ventilation for fresh air.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is awesome and the blocks of the college are well maintained and there is another block named new block in which the CSE and the mechanical students’ classrooms exist. In the library there is an option for taking the books to home but they must be returned with the specified date and if not, then penalty is awarded.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is full of crowd and there is a canteen and the small shops like coffee shop and the ice cream shop and there is a stationary at the corner in between the block 1 and 2. There are very less number of fests and events held in the college and every Saturday there are many club activities like singing, dancing, and sports.

    The experience which I had with my college has been good. They started Training and classes in the first year itself. They are beneficial. Yes, some teachers are not good but most of the teachers are good. Our college mostly focused on academics so we have 1 or 2 sports hours in a week. The infrastructure is good.
