Best engineering college CGC

Overall Rating
If you are seeking for Computer Science Engineering then you can take admission in CGC, Landran undoubtedly. Because this college is the best top notch engineering college in Punjab which is very near to Chandigarh. It is best in academic, education, and placements.
 

Academics Rating
You must obtain minimum 75% in your 12th standard. Rest there is no hustle in any manner as you just need to submit the original documents at the time of admission. You will get direct admission is you obtain this percentage in high school and if you want to get in engineering specially. Otherwise you have to choose any other option.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are really helpful. All the teachers are highly qualified. The syllabus is a bit old but they teach us the latest technology and whatever happens in the present technological world. Teachers are so much helpful in every aspect. They guide you and help you in projects and placements.
 

Placement Rating
CGC is well known for its placements because every year more than 90% of the students get placed in top notch companies with good packages. Highest package offered is around 45 LPA whereas the average package offered is 7-8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good. You will be provided both sharing and non-sharing rooms along with AC and non-AC rooms. The mess food is not so good, so don't expect much. You will not get many options.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College is well maintained. Lush green campus, full Wi-Fi 24/7. There are food courts in which you get all type of meals like South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, etc. Medical facilities are also there 24/7, an ambulance support is available in case of emergency. Infrastructure of this college is great and all the facilities are present in every building.
 

Campus Rating
I love the campus life of this college as there are many students from different languages, religions, but still all hang out together. There is not any discrimination in our college. Seniors are also very helpful and they treat you as friends. They will guide you in semesters; help you with your doubts. Many different clubs are also present including coding, photography, modeling, dancing, and singing. 1-2 events happened every month.
