Graphic Era Hill University B.Tech Review By Ayush Khatri

The Graphic Era Hill University is the part of the Graphic Era Institute and one of the 4 major campuses situated at the urban area of Clement Town, Dehradun near the AFSB board so it is well connected to the city. The name "Graphic" is enough to imbibe a good feeling to a youngster who is searching for a college. It is one of the most popular colleges across the whole Uttarakhand. My experience until now is quite satisfactory. You get a whole package of academics, sports, events, and clubs here.

Academically, GEHU is very good. Teachers pay quite good attention to their studies. I am pursuing B. Tech (CS) and in the first year I had to go through all the domains of engineering and had a minimum of 10 subjects to read and learn including lab practicals. The exams are conducted regularly.

As I am pursuing B. Tech I have had a lot of teachers. And overall they all are well experienced and helpful but the teacher-student ratio ruins it all. At present in my class there are 75 students so you can guess how difficult it is. All of them have different teaching styles.

Yes, I heard of the placement cell from my seniors and it is quite helpful I can assure that.

Our GEHU only has one building on campus. And all the courses and students are packed in one large infrastructure of 5 floors. There is a library facility there , however the seating capacity is very low. At the time of my admission there were about 2000+ students who had enrolled for B. Tech.

The campus life, the crowd, the clubs, and the fests are quite satisfactory in this college. The students are knowledgeable and the environment around us is quite active. Mostly there are all Garhwali people in the hill campus as the college provides 25% fee confession to the Uttarakhand residents. Recently our annual fest GRAFEST took place and it was one hell of a bang as Ayushmaan Khurrana, Neha Kakkar, and Catherine came for it on 3 days of the fest.
