Overall Rating
The Graphic Era Hill University is the part of the Graphic Era Institute and one of the 4 major campuses situated at the urban area of Clement Town, Dehradun near the AFSB board so it is well connected to the city. The name "Graphic" is enough to imbibe a good feeling to a youngster who is searching for a college. It is one of the most popular colleges across the whole Uttarakhand. My experience until now is quite satisfactory. You get a whole package of academics, sports, events, and clubs here.
 

Academics Rating
Academically, GEHU is very good. Teachers pay quite good attention to their studies. I am pursuing B. Tech (CS) and in the first year I had to go through all the domains of engineering and had a minimum of 10 subjects to read and learn including lab practicals. The exams are conducted regularly.
 

Faculty Rating
As I am pursuing B. Tech I have had a lot of teachers. And overall they all are well experienced and helpful but the teacher-student ratio ruins it all. At present in my class there are 75 students so you can guess how difficult it is. All of them have different teaching styles.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, I heard of the placement cell from my seniors and it is quite helpful I can assure that.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our GEHU only has one building on campus. And all the courses and students are packed in one large infrastructure of 5 floors. There is a library facility there , however the seating capacity is very low. At the time of my admission there were about 2000+ students who had enrolled for B. Tech.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life, the crowd, the clubs, and the fests are quite satisfactory in this college. The students are knowledgeable and the environment around us is quite active. Mostly there are all Garhwali people in the hill campus as the college provides 25% fee confession to the Uttarakhand residents. Recently our annual fest GRAFEST took place and it was one hell of a bang as Ayushmaan Khurrana, Neha Kakkar, and Catherine came for it on 3 days of the fest.

The infrastructure and faculty are excellent and even the placements are most important reasons I preferred GEHU over other colleges.     This university is one of the best in my state; it provides the best of the education and technology of the current time to the students. The professors at the university are highly experienced and qualified. Sports facilities and facilities for bus with full security and care are provided to the students.     I chose this college as I could not clear JEE. If you are from Uttarakhand, you might know about GEHU. It offers academic scholarships to all the students based on their score in class 12th. GEHU offers good placements and is affordable so I chose this college. If you are a student from Uttarakhand, you should go for GEHU as it is quite affordable in comparison to other colleges like UPES, DIT, and others.
