The BIET (Jhansi) is one of the most popular AKTU-affiliated autonomous colleges located in the city of Jhansi. My overall experience at this college is quite good. The campus life, the friends, the seniors and juniors, and the playground are all good. We made many memories in this college. I got into this college on the basis of my JEE Mains rank. I chose this college particularly because it is near my hometown, and my cousin's brother is a graduate of the college, so he recommended it to me. For other students who want to come here, I will say that if you are getting a CSE or an IT branch in this college, then only it is good for you.

For enrolling in this college, you have to take the JEE Mains exam. The requirements for enrolling in the college are just the JEE mains rank, 10th class passing certificate,12th class passing certificate, the residence letter, and your caste certificate if you belong to another caste. These things are mandatory for enrolling, and you have to take part in the online counseling conducted by the UPTU. After you get to the college for counseling, you have to visit the college for physical reporting or submitting the documents physically. The BIET staff is good and understanding. If you need any kind of help, you may ask them, and they will surely help you. If you want placements from this college and you have a CSE or IT branch, then surely enroll in the college.

Every teacher has a different style of teaching here. In the BIET (Jhansi), the faculties teaching here have years of experience; Some of them are graduates of the NITs or IITs and some of them are graduates of the same college. The professors and the Heads of Departments in any branch have a lot of experience in their branches. Mostly all the faculties teach in English and the other day scholar faculties teach in Hindi and English both. They teach you non-core subjects like human values, soft skills, etc.

Yes, the BIET (Jhansi) has a placement cell known as the Training and Placement Cell, or TPC for short. This cell creates contacts with the HR departments of the different companies and establishes relations with them so that at the time of the placements, their company visits the college for the placements. The placements are good in the CSE and the IT departments. The minimum package is about 3.5 LPA and the maximum is about 18 LPA. Last year, one student from the CSE branch grabbed the package of 64 LPA from Google and one girl grabbed the package of 45 LPA from Microsoft. If we talk about the core branches, then around one in four students have the chance to get placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. visit the campus for placement purposes. From my point of view, it depends on you; if you have ability, then it does not matter;

Yes, there are hostels on the campus of the college. Basically, there are nine hostels at the college namely Vrindavan Bhawan, Saket Bhawan and Rajendra Agnihotri, Panchwati Bhawan/Atal Vihari Bajpayee, Jay Bharat Bhawan, Major Dhyanchand Hostel, Yashodhara Bhawan, and Kalpana Chawla Hostel. These hostels are provided to students of the college on the basis of the marks secured. The hostels have all the necessary facilities for the comfort of the students. The infrastructure of the hostels is good, and every year the hostels are renewed, so the condition of the hostels is good. Overall, hostel life is good, and you will love it.

The academic blocks are located in the centre of the campus, which is between the girls and boys hostels. There are seven branches in the college and every branch has a separate department except IT and EE branches, which are self-financed branches and have to pay 15000 extra fees. The departments are very old, the structure is old, and the seats in the classrooms are very old. There are many labs according to their branches, and all the labs have amenities available for the practical examination of practicals. There is a library available near the academic block that has numerous books to study. And all the departments have Wi-Fi facilities as well.

The life in this college is quite amazing. The green, lush campus of around 252 acres of land. There are around 1000 boys and 200 girls in the B. Tech Course. There is one playground for playing cricket, football, and volleyball known as the Central Playground, or CPG. Also for the other sports, there is the Student Activity Corner, known as SAC, where you can play basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess, etc. Gyms are also available for gym lovers in the SAC. The most loving thing in the SAC is the wooden court; you will literally love it. Sports events like the Prabhanjhan are organised every 2–3 years where various AKTU colleges take part in the event, and the other event is PACE, in which an inter-branch competition is organised. Many types of councils are there that organise their respective events every year, like the Abhinandan, the Mahotsav, the Innovanza, etc. The students take part in the events, enjoy a lot with their friends, and make memories that are long-lasting.
