College life at MAIT

Overall Rating
Overall this college is decent if compared to other engineering colleges in Delhi. Not many opportunities if compared with IIT, NIT, DTU or NSUT aur present, butit is one of the best colleges under Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). Infrastructure is good and campus life is enjoyable. Academics are not so good but better placement opportunities are there compared to other colleges of GGSIPU.
 

Academics Rating
Different technical courses like Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), AIML, ITS, CST, and other various merged courses are there as well as some core branches like Electrical and Electronics (EEE), Electronics and Communication (ECE), and Mechanical courses are there. You may get the chance to choose your preferred course according to your JEE rank. After the first year, students get a chance to upgrade their branch through their academics if they want.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties in this college have over 10 years of teaching experience and few of them even have 20 years worth of experience in teaching. Most of them have done their Ph. Ds in their respective subjects. College does not have smart boards so they teach on normal blackboards / whiteboards. For some subjects like MPMC and SCILAB, various software is used to teach and provide experience.
 

Placement Rating
This college has their own placement cell known as CDC. It is a student governed cell which helps in providing various internship and placement opportunities to students. 250-300 companies come every year for campus placements in which some of them identify as mass recruiters. Placement opportunities in this college are decent. Companies like Amazon, Accenture, ZS Associates, Panasonic, Sony, etc. come in placement drives.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are available in this college but there are some restrictions. Hostel is only for boys. So girls must arrange their whereabouts like PG or flats. Students who are residing in Delhi cannot avail hostel facilities. It is only available to students from outside the NCR region. Infrastructure of the hostel is well maintained. Rooms are evenly spaced. Mess facility is available in the hostel. Room cleaning and laundry facilities are also available for the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This college has overall 9 blocks for educational purposes. 1 block for each course. MAIMS building is also inside the college campus which is for Management courses like MBA and BBA. A large ground is there where students can play football, cricket and various other games. An Auditorium is there for any event to occur. An indoor badminton court is present where students can play badminton anytime (although it is paid service). This college has around 7 canteens.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at this college is very fun. There are various cultural clubs such as dramatics, dancing, singing, writing as well as non technical clubs like consulting. Some technical clubs are AeroMait and AWS cloud club. Over 2,000 students make the campus always kicking and enjoyable. Students come from different parts of India so this makes the campus life even more interesting as you get the chance to meet and talk to people from different states and cultures.

    Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology is the best Engineering institute affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. With its 25th anniversary, MAIT has established itself as a top choice for Computer Science Engineering students. It offers excellent education without the burden of exorbitant fees as compared to private universities.     I am pursuing Bachelor of Technology from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. Its campus area is something 10 acres. 4-5 canteens are available and labs are good in condition. Placement Records are good in this college. Average Placement is 7-8 lakhs in present.     Maharaja Agresen Institute of Technology (mait) is overall a decent college for engineering. NIRF ranking of this college lies between 200 to 250. Seniors of this college are very interactive, polite and helpful. Even college festivals are also very good and invite very popular personalities like raftaar as a guests to perform live....
