College life in Chandigarh University

Overall Rating
Chandigarh University is one of the largest universities in Punjab and students from neighboring states come to the Chandigarh University for their higher studies. Also a huge crowd from Nigeria came here for pursuing different courses. The study environment is very good here. It has a huge campus and the architecture is very impressive.
 

Academics Rating
Chandigarh University has various courses. Getting admission in CU is not that tough it has eligibility criteria, one should have passed out class 12th with at least 60% marks in their graduation then they can enroll for courses. The enrollment process is hassle free as you just need to crack their entrance exam named CUCET and on basis of its result the student can get scholarship which is a very great opportunity. I got a scholarship of 60% and only paid 40% of the total fees.
 

Faculty Rating
It has thousands of faculties there and all are well educated and have a great hold in their specific areas. The University provides smart classes which are the best way of teaching and also arranges exams in every 2 to 3 months so that students can revise the syllabus. I was in the MBA HR department and all our faculties were so good and understanding. They all are qualified professionals with great experiences.
 

Placement Rating
They have a specific placement cell for helping students to get jobs, but for this students need to opt for specific placement program. For the students who really want campus placements this program is called TPP (Training and Placement Program). Only those students get chance for placements that opt for this TPP program.
 

Hostel Rating
Chandigarh University has various hostels for girls and boys which are nearby the campus. Hostels are also very beautiful and clean; one has to share room with 2 other people. The food over there is not that great but decent. Also there are time limitations for going outside.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Chandigarh University is very huge. Campus is approx 750 acres and the infrastructure is very impressive. The buildings are well maintained and beautiful. There are various blocks for various departments. Maps are available in every block so students can find the blocks very easily. There is so much greenery in CU. Huge parks and fountains are there. For best food CU has a number of cafeterias in the campus itself.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in CU is kind of a dream for the students. I think every student wants this kind of an experience. Campus is very huge and crowded most of the time. The university arranges different fests, events, and seminars to enhance students’ experience and talent. Also various celebrities and well known personalities come to college very frequently. I just had great experience in Chandigarh University.

    My experience at Chandigarh University is wonderful and memorable. It focuses more on practical and that doesn't mean it avoid theory, it balance the theory and practical. For a Law student, it's necessary that there is practical exposure with theoretical knowledge.     I chose Chandigarh University because of the reputation it holds. The campus is really huge, and infrastructure is top notch. Each and every facility is available in the campus. As a law student, the law building is well equipped with big library and a good moot court which gives a vibe of a real court. Curriculum is designed in a really good way. Overall University is good.     Here, campus life is too good for students. They organize many events for the students’ development. There is a balance between studies and co-curricular activities. Clarity of concepts is given by the faculties by which they stand out from others. Also, the teachers have a good teaching experience.
